Hi, was on Quellious as a Wizard to level 70, played during college from 2000 to 2005 when I had to stop playing as going to work full time with an EQ hangover nearly got me fired. My toon's name was Prane in the guild Inverted Horizons, I felt the urge to play again when I found an old link to EQEmu, and wanted a server that I could enjoy and Hidden Forest looked like the best.

I am an Aussie, so my online play will always be at weird time, and decided to play a bard this time round in dedication of one of my best friends and EQ players I know Mitcheypoo aka Stunt Bard, google him, hes a great friend and an aweomse bard.

PS I am 26, married to an ex-highelf enchanter and have an 8 month old son.

Ah cool. Yeah I was in Magitek Knights for a while, till they disbanded, then because I went to Talons of Justice, and was there till they disbanded, then I went over to Order of the Ancient Dragon. And that is where I currently reside, when I play.

I remember me and a buddy talking about how we would never play a game that we had to pay a monthly fee for. We cited EQ as a game we would never play. I came home one day to see him playing EQ asked what is was, made fun of him and his Iksar Warrior, and promptly went out and bought the game when he told me I could play an ogre. This was a few months after the Kunark release.

We played on The Seventh Hammer, I started with an Ogre Warrior named Roggrogg Spynepuller, and he had Kask Amantillado. After gettin the Warrior to 51 I decided i did not like him, and ended up leveling a Ranger, Erinn, to 66 before I quit.

A majority of our time was spent in a guild called Frith, a family style guild that was a lot of fun. I eventually wanted to raid real content, so I joined The Dark Exile for about 4 months until work mde raiding an impossibility.

I got bored and quit after OoW or GoD whichever was the 2nd of the 2. I tried SWG, EQII, and DDO, but eventually settle on WoW. I still use EQ as the model for raiding, as the live game was soulcrushing for leveling and high end raiding.

I am bored with WoW now, so i do my 2 weekly raids there, and the rest of the time play on THF now.

Played Ummn Lala on Luclin, then quit and sold account. Came back a year or so later and started 5 boxing on Luclin. Yuppers SK, Sectsey Sham, Roxxie Cleric, Flys Druid, and Ummn Lalala 2.0 Necro. I was really hardcore in those days lost 3 jobs b/c of EQ. . . . Good times!
