Many good points were made and most of you see our intentions.
To be honest and clear about this limitation, server stability is not an issue anymore. However, there are two main reasons to keep this limitation live. Both of them are based on our vision how THF balance/progression/play style should be.
1. We don't want to encourage players to train whole zones for any reason (exploiting, training others, blocking progression / leveling, etc).
2. We simply don't want to allow players to farm gear/AA/exp or power level faster than how they can at the current circumstances. (which is already pretty fast)

I hope it all make sense.

One thing we can consider here is changing the mechanics of the "punishment". Instead of porting the player to THF, something else could happen. something less annoying, yet good enough to withhold players from doing it.

How about if a player character aggros more than 25 mobs they are ported to the zone safe spot AND disabled (stunned - couldn't be a root or else the toon could be CotHed back to the group and still contribute) for a duration, like a minute or two? This way the toon isn't sent back to the Forest but is effectively "punished" for the pull limit infraction.

Not sure if it would be possible to code such a stun so as to not take up a buff slot and possibly dispell a buff... so what about the developer boxes? Iirc on live each zone (maybe it was only a few) has a cube-shaped room that was inaccessible to anyone but a Senior GM. What about using these cubes, if they exist in all zones, or building something similar - almost like a penalty box in hockey. Pull >25 mobs get ported to the box for 2 minutes, after timer is up you show up at zone safe spot.

My suggestions would be either:

Mobs don't aggro anyone with 25+
or
Mobs summon anyone with 25+

Personally I like the evac idea. If that's not enough of a "penalty" then maybe a debuff that affects your stat caps or something.

The problem with mobs summoning you at 25+ would be just the same as the issue in icewell where you are summoned into walls and are beat to death because they can hit you but you cant hit them. I have to say i have played on this server just after it was created and Lillu and Co. have always tried hard to make it a fair place to play. The 25 limit mob has done that and i agree with them keeping it. Thanks again for all your hard work.
