*SPOILER ALERT* Cleric Epic 3.0 Walk-thru **SPOILER ALERT**

Hi everyone, I am working on putting together a walkthru of the Cleric Epic 3.0 quest. I know some of you will not be happy with it coming out so soon. So if you dont want to help that is fine, but those of you who do please reply to this post or PM me.

Please no burns. I am looking for advice and details i am missing.

And as a side note: I spoke with Lillu before posting this and it was his idea.

Stuff I am looking for help on:

-Correction in my walkthru (ie: spelling, conversation, anything really)
-Screen Shots of the conversations with all NPC's in the quest
-Specific mob locations
-Specific drop names
-Raid event scripts (correct hp% events)
-Anything else any of you can think of

I am highlighting stuff in red that i would like clarification and details on.

I am currently going through my notes and writing this up. As the Allaclone doesn't have the items visible yet there isnt any links. I will be transfering the walkthru over to Wiki as soon as it is finished. I will edit my post as I have more completed.

Thank you in advance!

Beginning

To begin this quest you will need to find the Book of Marr. This drops of the global loot table (see global loot for details). Once you have the Book of Marr proceed to Rathe Mountains and find Master Ingmar.
He is located in the southern part of the zone at the Guktan camp. Once handed in he will talk to you and ask you to get his tools for him. The tools are Ingmars Hammer, anvil, steel, and bolts (also on the global loot table). After turning in the tools Mater Ingmar he will give you a bag and send you to find:

(Each of these mobs are level 70 and on a 6 minute spawn timer.)
Raptor Tooth – Timorous Deep dropped by Vrakkth
Ghoul Sinew – Emerald Jungle dropped by Kurckri
Liquid Bronze – Befallen dropped by Sir Forndel
Dragon Bone Bolt – Field of Bones dropped by Sarkanoth
Mithril Steel Bar – Plane of Valor dropped by Bishop Alderan

Once you have collected the drops combine them in the bag and return to Master Ingmar. After turning in the combined item he will send you to find Weldarr who is located in Southern Planes of Karana in the hermits house.

After talking to Weldarr he will send you to North Kaladim where you will need to speak with Madam Kurstiv (she is in the house with the mushroom garden outside). Madam Kurstiv wants you to find some armor, which is located in her garden. There are four pieces of armor you need to find. The first two are in the garden and are ground spawns. The other two need to be foraged in North Kaladim. Turn in the armor to Madam Kurstiv and she will give you a key. Use the Key in South Kaladim to speak with her Husband, Sentinel Kurstiv.

You have now made it to where you get to make a choice! There is a solo task or a raid task.

Solo Task

You will need to go to Butcherblock mountains and find the smugglers. The smugglers drop Letters of Evidence #1-4. There are 5 static spawn points. Once you have all the letters of Evidence hand them into Father Kurstiv and he will give you Kormif Seal of Approval. Go back to the husband and turn in the seal. The husband will give a letter for Weldarr.

Raid Task (12 hour timer)

The husband will ask you to kill his wife. Go to the Madam Kurstiv Trigger and Hail it. Once you say or click “Ready” Madam Kurstiv will spawn. How to fight:
-She is Perma-rooted
-At 69-70% (or close to it) AoE summons everyone
-50% Knockback and DoT(-2k AC and -2k HP)
*I believe this happened again at 25% and randomly after 50%

Loot Kormif Seal of Approval from Madam Kurstiv and go back to the Sentinel and turn it in for the Letter to Weldarr.

Now its time to run back to the Southern Planes of Karana and turn in the letter. Weldarr will send you to find Veluim Ore. There are four pieces of ore: Block, Slab, Chunk, and need the last name. These items are located in Crystal Caverns on Veluim Miners. (Are the drops on all the miners or do they drop a certain one?) The Miners are level 70 and are a static spawn on a 5-8min timer. Once you have looted all four pieces of ore head back to Weldarr. He will give you (name of item) for Master Ingmar.

Head over to Master Ingmar and turn in (item). He will say that he needs a tooth from a dragon and need to find Tsuyara. Head to Erudin Palace and find her at loc. Tsuyara will send you to Dragon Necropolis to speak to Kinvur'dk.

Once you talk to Kinvur'dk you will have to chose the raid event or the solo task.

Solo task

Find an Abyss Watcher (there are 4 of them) Loc
-they are level 70 on 6 min timer
-The drops all have the same name BUT have different ID numbers. Each Watcher drops a different Fragment of an abyssal heart

Raid task

Find the Abyss Keeper Trigger (12 hour timer)

-80% spawns 4 healers that need to be mezzed or the Abyss Keeper will be healed.
-has a ton of HP
-Need more info on this fight

Once you have either finished the solo or raid task turn in you item/items to Kinvur'dk and recieve a vial. He will send you to Steamfont Mountains to his spirit to do a ritual. Turn in the vial to Spirit of Kinvur'dk and recieve the Dragon tooth (need actual name). Return to Master Ingmar.

Master Ingmar will now ask you for Living Glass and send you to Akanon to speak with Gulin Fizzlethorp. Talk to Gulin and he will send you to Fenisha Kandium who will ask you to get silk for her. Head to Mistmoore Mansion and look for a mistmoore spider (there are 4 static spawns). You will need to loot Strong,Smooth, Soft, and name then return them back to Fenisha. She will now ask you to bring her a sewing needle made from Tin, Iron, Silver, Gold, Mithril, and Velium metal bits. These are combined in a forge by a Grandmaster Blacksmith. All the of these items are on the global loot table and tradable. The combine is trivial at 350 skill level. Once you give her the sewing needle she will ask you to bring her wasp spit.

Last Raid or Solo task choice

Solo Task

Go to burning woods and kill a Wasp Spitter (there are 5 static spawns on a 6 minute spawn timer)

Need name of drop and if they need to be combined first

Raid task

Go to burning woods and hail the Wasp Queen Trigger.

-65% hp she will stun the tank
-50% AoE 35k dmg
-need more info since i was tanking and didnt have time to write anything down

Wasp Queen drop Massive Wasp spit

Return to Fenisha with the wasp spit and she will give you a Tinkering Shawl and a letter for Gulin. Go turn in the shawl and letter to Gulin and he will send you to Steamfont Mountains to kill a Forgotten Automaton and loot fragment of living glass (these are all the same and tradable). Once you have 4 fragments have a Grandmaster Jewel Crafter combine them. It is trival at 350 skill level. Return to Master Ingmar.

Once again Master Ingmar will send you on another farming expadition. This time it is for Essense of Marr. Go to Everfrost and kill Child of Marr for the essence (there are 4 static spawns at 6 minute timer, all the drops are the same and tradable). Once you get four essences of marr and an essence emerald you can have a Grandmaster Alchemist do the combine. Trivial at 350 skill level.

Go turn in the Essence of Marr to Master Ingmar

Congratulations! You now have the Sceptre of Marr!

These are all 6 minute respawns:
Mithril Steel Bar -> Bishop Alderan -> Plane of Valor
Liquid Bronze -> Sir Forndel -> Befallen
Raptor Tooth -> Vrakkth -> Timorous Deep
Ghoul Sinew -> Kurckri -> Emerald Jungle
Dragon Bone Bolt -> Sarkanoth -> Field of Bone

She AoE summons everyone at 69-70%. I used only the necessary classes (melee and healers/debuffers) to take her down to the AoE summon and then sent in my pet classes. The first time I did her I used everything and lost all my pets as I didn't know the fight. :P

DoT is cured with 1 cast of the donor hammer that I saw.
I only recall 1 knockback.

The item dropped by her is called Kormif Seal of Approval, you then hand this Seal into the Sentinel and receive a Letter of Appologies.

I understand and I agree that your post wants to be helpful but to me, it is really too soon. Took us a week to find out and to beat Vaion's amazing work. And a little bit than a week after that, you post a full walkthrough. A question / answer thread would have been enough right now in my opinion.

I can safely say that people who have beaten it are helping anyone who is asking them. I have helped a lot via tells or even while camping it for other clerics.

What is done is done. I just ask not to do public thing sooner than that for next epics. Keep it ingame things.

I agree that some people don't want to spend hours trying to find out things, but there is a big difference between offering publicly something and asking ingame. It's also a way to control raid instances lockout and camping of mobs. With a so fast public walkthrough, I personally fear that those mobs that sometimes took hours to drop what we want, will be overcamped. Waiting a little bit more would have allowed people who knew via tells/guild to get their so less crowded too.

As a proof of good will, though as I said, I disagree with that. Last silk you need is Dark silk.

+1

Keep it as with bossfights from tiers, when the next higher tiers was downed, wiki was filled with information about lower tierbosses.

Not even the next epic has been announced/released ...
Grats, you posted the best communicationkiller between guilds/people.

Overly dramatic.

If the post is marked *spoiler alert*, then who are we to take away someone else's freedom of choice if they choose to read it. Nobody is forcing them. If this server was concerned with getting players to socialize, they would have never allowed MQ2.

Adding more rules and regulations restricts freedom of choice. All information should be free. I shouldn't have to go to xyz to beg them to give me hints and have them tease me because I haven't figured out something in my 5 mins of available play time that took them 5 days of theirs.

We're all here to have fun. Stop restricting my fun because you can't self regulate.

Won't argue over this post. I just said that it's too soon, not that it shouldn't be ever done. Waiting shaman epic to be released in few days would have been better in my opinion.
Things will be overcrowded. Have fun taking a ticket for the queue. People would be silly to beg for informations, a simple ooc or tell works.
Point is not to take away somebody's fun Warbeat.

I'm off this topic.

I casually ran around zones, asked a few people that shared some info and also tracked what zones people were sitting in for extended periods of time via allaclone.
Every zone that has something you need for the epic was camped with someone sitting on or near spawn points every time I was online.
Good luck as a casual player. What I saw and heard its a great quest but to have nearly every step be bottlenecked is meh.

Thanks to those that have given feedback so far. I understand that people think it is to soon, and I agree in some portion of that. Thank you Sain for the honest and respectful reply and contributing to the post. I was right behind you in the quest and know how long it took. On the other hand there are a lot of player that dont have the time and may need a push.

I dont believe this post deserves to get burned and hasnt killed communication. It has given the people that are casual players a chance to get a jump start before the global loot table is at a point were the drops are harder to get.

I personally have typed out the quest for people countless times now (either for guildies or over tells). So being that we have heard both sides of the coin, please keep this a burn free posting and just informational.

And if anyone thinks that the zones are being camped to much as is, alot of the people that have 2+ clerics that are still doing the quest are normally happy to step aside and let you farm since they have had the pleasure of completing the quest.
