THF on Live

I've always been rather curious who everyone on THF played on Live or more importantly whether or not i knew any of you guys or at least if any of us shared a server in common So since the LS is down i figured i would see if anyone could dig up their old EQ Players or Magelo accounts from Live. If not just post who you played and the server/level/class/guild or anything else you feel like sharing

This is is my pride and joy. (Magelo ftw) He stopped just short of Crystallos raids, made it up to killing Meldrath, earned the Steamslayer title then i quit. =/ I'm sure Meno will be on my case for being so gimpy since he made it halfway through Seeds of Destruction but hey i made number 4 on the server for mages and 20 on the server overall so i wasn't too bad lol. Btw This is actually not me lol. That was a close friend of mine however (hence my Emu name) and she currently owns my account heh

Anyone else able to dig up some old character info? I'm particularly interested in seeing Lillu's 6 boxes XD

I gave my account to a friend when I left ... the character I played with the most (Koer Poisondirk - Rog on Xegony) no longer exists. I found an old link on safehouse to my Magelo (link), but it comes up completely blank ... anyone know if it is possible to get it to work?

A few others insignificants of mine show up though so the account is still intact at least.

I started playing in October 99 on Tribunal server. First month was painful as it was hard, i wasn't a groiuping type, and I kept makign new chars tryign to figure out an easier gameplay.
2 Month later Luclin server was opened, and I swithed, hoping to get better start there with everyone from lev 1.
2 month later switched again to Morell Thule. This time firmly settling on Druid as my main, and Played all way till October 2004, when WoW/EQ2 come out, and crap load of people left, including half of our guild. I was really upset with such turn of events, specialy considering we were doign so well last few month - we totaly destroyed Tier 1-3 PoP, and Cleared VT 2 times now, and were about to break into Elementals, and then BOOM.. No guild. After that I just stopped playing, until year later my RL friend got me into EQ2. I enjoyed that for a few month- and it was so much more fun at lower levels than eq1, but then I stopped again.
Eventualy 2 years ago learned about Emu, and been into developing ever since: if you want EQ done right- do it yourself

I'm new to THF (I haven't even settled on who to level up past 30 yet) but, with login down, I find myself perusing these boards so why not pitch in

I played on Bristlebane from just prior to Kunark release until the day after OoW came out. I started out as Tiggwindee, halfling cleric, but I dropped her around level 48 or so, and started Cresh, half-elf bard, who was my main for the next 4+ years. I just went digging around the internets and couldn't find much left of her even though I posted constantly =( But I did find my magelo, and the old pre-dye fashion site when color of armor actually mattered for identification.

I guess this posted is kind of obnoxious, but I just took a trip down memory lane and brought y'all along for the ride =P

Oh yeah - so far the chars I have made here are: Zangria (CLR), Marnee (MAG), Moriona (NEC), Tiggwindee (DRU)

I quit shortly after the level cap got bumped from 65 to 70. seemed every time i would hit the level cap they bumped it up 5 more. got tired of buying expansions and quit.

Started EQ 4 maybe 5 days after it went live in 1999. Halfling warrior was choice for first real character ( had rolled a woodie ranger, but 5 falling deaths off the rotten platforms killed that idea..) Leveled up slowly.. as you did then.

Skip forward months, and was messing around with a barb rog in everfrost when a huge amount of players went past me into everfrost.. followed them.. little did I know I was following in the first successful Vox kill by FoH. Even dragged some clerics corpse out for them to res up. Annoying thing was.. no loot on corpse and a Gm turned up to award it, but not before I was acussed of stealing it. lol.

Most played chars was a mage on veeshan, and a pally on FV. Bought and played seeds for a few weeks but just didn't like where live was going.

Highlight of live was first player on veeshan to trival acrylia studded cloak when it went live (wife farmed acrylia, I spammed trade chat ) and made 11.. first 5 went for 15k each (lots of plat in 2002) and rest for 10k.

No magelo for mage and the pally one works, but shows up naked.

I started in 2000 q4 with a mage on Saryrn, but quickly changed to a druid.. and finally rerolled as a rog. The rogue, Lillu, had 300 days (!) of playtime when I quit.. I was playing on Saryrn for 5 years, then I move to another server to join Arch Overseer, then I moved to AB and joined Tide, burned out and quit. I know Tyler from Saryrn and met him again on AB.
I skipped a year or so.. then I started to play again, but when I realized that I can buy better armor in bazaar, than what I've farmed for 5-6 years raiding daily for 4-6 hours, I was pretty upset and quit for real. Oh yeah, but before I quit I burned lots of cash on LoN illusion cards and such..lol

To sum it up, I would never ever start a timesink anything like live EQ. I have no idea why ppl play on P99 and Peq. Anyways, EqEmu (customized servers) is exactly what I love in EQ minus the pointless timesink.

I have a bucket load of alts, but I didn't play them as much as I played the Terrible Trio.
Mierrie was the only one who did much raiding, the other two were played purely for my fun.

Lillu...Arch Overseers on Bristlebane server??? Xebnok used to be in that guild back in the luclin days...thats pretty cool.


Anywho as for me, i played on Bristlebane back in the day had a mage to 55 before i gave my aact info to a "friend" who proceeded to log in and get rid of all my gear. Quit for 3months after that during which i played EQEMU.

I met someone who had an extra live account with a level 52 shaman on it and he said i can use it and we could play on live(he was a ranger) So thats where i got my start on Cazic Thule, Leveled the shaman to 65 and raided Planes of Power like it was my effing job, Was in a guild called Hand of Chaos, after i got elemental flagged, the guild continued to do nothing but older planes content and not making progress in the ele planes, so i left...to join a brand new guild who had formed from a disbanding guild.

Hellfire Club was the guild and family i called my own for about 2 years in EQ, shortly after joining the level cap was raised to 70 with omens of war, so since they did that, HFC(Hellfire Club) went crazy nuts on the elemental planes and made it to potime in a month and had it all cleared. Then we started raiding GoD, DoN, OoW all at the same time was before i quit the guild we had risen to the 3rd best raiding guild on the server in a matter of a year.

I dont have my Magelo for my toon and eqplayers shows him naked.

But his name was Ollesk the Persistent, won the title in a GM event....had over 900aa about 13k mana buffed and 12.5k hp buffed with my gear in such.

yep, i joined them right before when they basically felt apart (pre PoR expansion?), so I moved on to join Tide.. Tyler was waiting for me there..he had a noob enchanter.

most fun I had on eq live beside raiding was ldon, where Tyler and me boxed 4-5 toons and had some fun. druid healing/animal charm in ruj wtf!
