While i think that GM interaction is already very high - some more events for everyone - hardcore raiders/casual groups would be great! I think back to the EQlive anniversary events with the Fabled Mobs and such all over norrath which would drop nice items - taking a new set of items and throwing them into a couple of classic zones for a few days or a weekend would be cool. Or something along those lines - but i would certainly love to see some more events (double xp is nice but not what i would consider an event)

I think if a GM decides they want to do one, great. Otherwise I am quite happy with the way things go right now. I do not think that they should take time out of what they already donate their free time towards doing, unless they really want to not because we demand/request it.

Id be more inclined to agree with more events if a GM was around who basically just did that type of thing, however I don't see a point in overwhelming the current staff who already have so much to do as is unless they genuinely want to.

This opinion is stated with the knowledge that I probably would not participate as I enjoy the raid content that is available more than anything, and that I doubt id either have the time to add something else in to do or simply wouldn't be interested.

btw having more event isn't a question of voting. It's only a matter of free time we have besides spending endless hours with content development.

I can assure tho that more fun event will happen, in time.

We had something like that already regarding fabled mob style however it wasn't something for everyone.

Personally i would like to see a pvp event the only problem i see with it is that Donator Gear and possible high end raid gear will give you a to big edge over those that don't have access to it.

How about something like this......Have something like a "guide" program, where players can submit an event idea to the folk running the server. Plan out the event from start to finish including what loots they would like included. If the Dev's agree/like the idea let the submitting player run with it. Give them a "event only " toon to run with to handle the event and remove it as soon as its done.

This could work with "kill and loot" events and scavenger hunt type events.

This would keep the Dev's free to work on the server and let events be run from time to time.

I don't know how plausible this is as I have no idea how the back end stuff works, but could be worth a shot.
