This is to the players in the guild of Insurrection that ran up to Fennin Ro after he died to get flags.

What makes you guys think you have any business running up there to Hail the fairy for flags when you have not even killed anything in Sleeper's Tomb? There was one person that asked me for a flag from Dark Redemption and I gladly CoHed him there for it. To make matters worse you decided that since Fennin's corpse was open it was OK to take all of his loots as well. I got no tells from any of you asking if you get flags or loot. I'm not sure how you guys do things in your guild but don't you think it would have been nice to actually ASK the person who KILLED him before doing any of that?

More seriously, I have no problem with CoHing people who ask nicely like I have no problem making someone who ninjaed a flag a life in pain.

Ninjaing loot and flags is a violation of the server policy here. Make sure to let the GM's know via PM. There have been issues with this in the past and several people have been swiftly dealt with for exactly the same thing. Easiest way to avoid this however is simply do not coth anyone until all your flags and loot have been acquired. Sad that people cannot respect and understand allowing others to obtain a flag and or loot rotting items is a privilege not a right. Always a few that ruin it for others.

For now I'm posting here a friendly reminder that everyone should read and follow our server rules. No exceptions. Most of all, play nice and fair.

I would oppose that statement, mainly based on the fact that I was not there and took no part in it. If we could possibly know who actually did this, then we could take a look into it. It is not a practice I, for one, condone and I apologize for the situation.

For those interested or not wanting to look it up, rules in question are :

# Respectable Game Play or in other terms means Play Fair, Respect each other and have fun. The servers goal is to have a fun and an enjoyable time while you play.

# This is not a kill or be killed, ks or be ks'd (kill stealing) type server, we like our community to enjoy their time here without having to deal with disrespectful people ruining their play time.
If you did not kill it, it does not belong to you. This includes flags, loot and anything else gained from the kill. You must have permission from the person/guild who made the kill.

Jatrasis, I do not believe that Kron was specifically targeting all members of your guild, merely the ones who may have been involved. Like you said you were not there and therefore cannot be classified in the same group as others. However as an officer of your guild you do end up getting the repercussions from other guildies actions. Believe me I know. Nothing can be done about it now other than a friendly reminder to all members to avoid further actions that could lead in suspension and possibly banishment.

Treats, if you need some assistance in redoing Fennin to recover lost flags and loot, <PROGENY> would be happy to assist anytime.

I was present when this all went down. A group of us were in Fire killing names for spells when the 10min warning went out for the server restart. We killed our last named we were after which was in C2 when the 5min warning went out. Around this time the death shout also went out for his death. Since we were so close we decided to run over and check it out. When we got there it was just Treats and all his toons were going LD in preparation for the server restart. With no one around to hail the fairy for flags and Treats just standing there i told them to go ahead and hail it, it has 18 flags and it looks like none are being used as everyone is logging off here.

As for the loot, when we got the 1min warning for server restart we checked the corpse, it still had loot on it. With the server about to go down, all the toons camped minus Treats, and the loot about to poof with the server, I told them to take the earring, dont let them rot.

I apologize for upsetting you but with seconds to spare i made a hasty decision based on the situation of the loot still remaining after everyone had left and the server about to go down any second.

Just an explanation of what happened, not an excuse for the behavior. Sorry for the disruption.

Hey Sticky, Thanks for giving us the other side of the story. Judgment calls are made with time expiring and it sounds like you made one to benefit your guild. I am sure that had you sent treats a PM or a message then this all could have been avoided but easy to say from here in my Monday Morning quarterback chair hehe. Thanks again for the info, I am sure that Lillu will appreciate it also since this does not appear to be a standard case of snatch and grab. Safe Hunting
