5%? wow seems a bit much for the hunter's whip. We will end up doing it just to have done all the quest, but we've killed 20x5 + of each of those mobs with no flawless. Ah, well not complaining, still having a blast getting it all done. Tis one of the reasons we are not into the regular progression as much. Seems like everyone is in such a rush to get it all done and forget to enjoy the questing along the way, hence the name EverQuest. I know a few players that won't even play on the server unless they can get to 70 within a week or two LOL. Well again Great Job on the Alt-P! Can't wait to finish this and see more :)

well Hunter's Whip is only 1 of the items you can get.
There are 4 rewards to choose from: ;)

Hunter's Whip
Fur Trapper's Spear
Hunter's Net
Fur Trapper's Amulet


And yes, I agree, the whole point of Alt-P, is to enjoy it SLOWLY =)
But what can I say, its a contest :lol: But once we have the rest of the winners, the rush will be over

While trying to aug a few things today I noticed something kinda strange. The aug Spirit Peridot is a type 2, it goes in the slots Legs, Chest, and Wrist. Now most of the Etched armor (steel, chain, leather, silk) has 3 aug slots, 2 slot 1's and 1 slot 2. Wrists on the other hand have 3 slot 1's. Just wanted to know if this was done purposefully or if it was an oversight.

yeah, a small oversight. I changed augs distribution at the last moment: previously wrists were not supposed to be augmented. Corrected to type 2 on wrists. will go live with next reboot.

Arial went to Aug her new bow with the Alchemical Jade she made however the Spirit Infused weapon has a type 2 slot and the Alchemical Jade is type 1. Is this an oversight? or is it supposed to be this way? Seems that all the new jewelry made Augs are type 1.... This seems to conflict with some of the new items.

Jade has been made to go into both type 1 and type 2 slots, pending next server reset ;)

I have a couple of alts coming up so, was wanting to know if that includes the dim jade as well?

Finishing up a few trade skills trying to fill a few spots up with upgrades. Well combined all the ingredients together to make waxed animal skins, stretch of snake skins, and I have alot of the various bloods and poison sacks. However when I click to combine the final combine nothing happens. No message, nothing at all. the combine button is highlighted and when clicked it de-highlights then re-highlights, but nothing else. The only combine that I could get to work is the finely tailored backpack. I've tried all the spirit infused animal cloaks and mantles as well as the snake skin bag but have the same result of nothing.

You need the pattern (mantle, cape, bag) for what you are trying to make. You just do not see them because the window is too small for the number of items required to make it, 9 required and 8 slots.
