Orb of Dark Will

So the Cleric trainer tells me that she'll reward me if I get get the orb from the Necro trainer and give it to the Cleric.

Has anyone given the Orb of Dark Will over to the Cleric? I'm curious if it's worth losing the pet effect of the orb.

you will get a bracer that summons a similar swarm pet, which is a magical hammer.
Both bracer and the orb are more or less equal in terms of power, the quest was essentially designed so good classes who can't use the orb be able to turn it in for something you can use.

Personally I prefer the rats =) Unless of course you are cleric or play, in which case bracer is your only option.
