Actually, I'd prefer to have some mechanism in place to where you had to delevel to 1 and enter naked and play it the way it's meant to be played. I'd really have no interest in going in with a bunch of high level gear. In my mind that sort of defeats the purpose of what you are doing with Alt-P. It would also be a nice way of being able to see the alt-p content and collect some alt-p items on my main character.

Can you set it up so the only delevel option is to level 1 and you'd have to have all of your equipment and bag slots empty before you could enter the alt-p line? EZ server sort of does this with their prestige quest. It only lets you delevel to 1 and requires you to unequip all your gear. I would suppose that the bank would be the sticking point. Not sure of a way around this unless you could have a regular banker and an alt-p banker, but I suppose this is all just more work for you all after you've already done so much. I'm just trying to think of creative ways to work on the first 100 AAs outside of grinding them out.

OK so I am a few months behind the curve, but I finally made time to start wandering through the Stonebrunt side of Alt-Progression.

Going to post a few of my observations as they occur to me and I remember to write em down.

1: Will the Druid/Wiz port/gate to Stonebrunt Mtns be implemented here for alt-p characters?

2: How about a 'Token of Return' item that sends you back to the faction camp that you are aligned with? But I'm not talking about something that would be insta-gifted like the Charm from the Queen in THF, more like a reward from your allies once you have proven your worth to them a few times?

I realize that there may be items already in place that grant you this stuff but with alla-clone down, I'm just winging it for now.

The port spell were disabled so no can get to Alt P from the outside, but for the characters already in alt p - there is a fairy in Paineel who can give you a quick ride to SB

As far as faction camps go, well Snowfang camp is no far from the docks, so this just leaves the cats villages.
Honestly I think port to camp is unnecessary, I wanted to make alt p, as place where travel is have the fun, specially if its a dangerous one

There is however a quest for SOW item for those who don't get it as spell, and I plan to introduces some mounts to alt-p as well.

There of course a situation where you are in deep end of dungeon and if you can't get it would take a while to get back (minus the Ranger Gate option), so I will perhaps add Gate Potion to the vendors.

Well, now that ya put it that way, it makes a lot of sense. So maybe Gate potion would be kind of unneccessary, in the spirit of Alt-p. Yep, the more that I think about it, I have to admit I've gotten lazy running around in regular progression zones. Shame on me and pass the coffee!!

Now I just have to find that SB-porting fairy....

Will be nice not to have to traverse warrens, thanks for te fairy. It didnt take too long to run though, using ranger bot sow in paineel. I definately wish there was a cleric trainer out in the field other than having to go back to town, but.. I respect the idea of having to adventure to and from town and would miss that for alt-p. Its bad enough i can gate back to paineel as a cleric. Id guess since its a solo balanced area, that a gate potion would be in order for non gaters. Im sure theres always a point of view to debate this, but making the gate potion lore wouldnt offend me, nor would it offend me if I had to get a quest from one of the unused(for quests) caster trainers to go into warrens and gather 5 whatever(easy kills/quick). Of course putting it on a vendor for a price is ok too i guess. Ranger gate is gonna always be a possibility for my sk as he moves out to stonebrunt.

ARGH!!!

I distinctly remember seeing a post the other day that briefly touched upon the various classes that each faction seemed to prefer, as far as gear rewards...but now I can't find it!!
I have a few more alts *looks innocent* who will also be working on Alt-P and I'm trying to keep track of which ones are following what path.

Any chance you could re-post that info, Chaos?? Pretty,pretty please?? It will stop me from wondering when the 3rd tier of Alt-P is coming....*runslikehelltowork*
