Well I think the change is great. Thanks

Only thing I can think of that might work is to call the AA for non pet classess something other than Pet Affinity. Pet Buff Share or something, different name, same thing, higher price...

i'm pretty sure I had mentioned this in a post long ago actually, along with the pet hold AA, but decided to re-mention it while we were at it ;).

Well another simple solution would be to give us another double experience weekend! Then, it would only cost 50AAs of effort for any Druids that need to catch up :D

It's a cool idea, and change, and shows the commitment to the server that the dev's have. Long term, will this change benefit the server? 100 AA's for those that are here, and have their AA's maxed or close, seems like nothing. Or, if you're familiar with the double exp weekends, it's something to look forward to.

But, if you're new, and looking to get this for your pet, as a pet class, it would, I think, seem daunting. 100 AA's for something that, imho, is essential for the pet classes, leans toward a major negative. For druids? bah! It's a nice thing to have for your hamster, but you never needed that hamster in the past.

The change is done, so we will adjust, but if we are to gain new players we need to consider their future in our actions, as much as we consider our present.

Just my 2 cents; this change happened so fast I guess I should have said this sooner.

We plan to make a new custom pet affinity AA for non-pet classes and then change the original pet affinity back the way it was (cost and class restriction). Hope it will be a relief. :)
