ive been here since 2009, we raid grouped for afk HoH points when the reward was so low.
Never seen anyone raid grind for exp since if you are lucky you get 1 AA per hour that way

Yeah, effectively different active groups were teamed up to speed it up. Being AFK and getting exp, no matter how slow it is, shouldn't be a thing.

Exactly! I view AA's as a nice thing to have, and sometimes a necessary thing, but never look at the amount gained unless it's the holiday double-exp lovefest. Each of us plays for our own reasons, but keeping the balance between all playtypes is the burden of the devs, and they seem to do it well.
