Destructive Force (Mnk AA)

Rank 3 works.
For some reason its Rank1 and Rank2 which are not working.

The cooldown on rank 1 and 2 is set to 1 hour. The cooldown on rank 3 is set to 7 minutes, like the aa description says. The aa description says that only duration increases as you increase in rank, leading me to believe that ranks 1 and 2 should have a 7 minute duration like rank 3.

Several issues here:

1.) Yes, timers need to be reduced for this aa in the aa table to reduce cast times for ranks 1 and 2.

2.) The spell file needs to be update for 2 spells corresponding to these two ranks. This is why the spell actually does not work.

3.) It seems to supposed to be an AE Rampage for a given time frame. Please correct me if this is incorrect as I have not used used this ability on eq live. If my assumption is correct, the spell probably needs to be redone also.

Can anyone provide any valuable information related to this AA or other AA's? There is a lack of information on the boards which makes it difficult to repair/implement things. Please help us help you by providing as much reliable information and source as possible!

You are correct in this assumption. It is supposed to be an AE rampage for a given time frame, according to allakhazam someone stated it is ~36s at rank 3. so I would venture to guess that at rank 1 it would be 24s, rank 2 30s, that way each rank as an additional tick.

Just difficult without proper knowledge. As the previous poster mentioned, it is supposed to be a duration based on rank. I don't think the working one (rank 3) is doing that. So, I didn't want to design rank 1 and 2 based on that. Instead, we have to fix all 3 ranks instead of just the two.

Totally makes sense. I was hoping that it would be easy though considering that it should be a copy of the rampage AA with 3 separate copies each having a modified duration for each rank. I don't have intimate knowledge of the database though, so just speculation.

Just recently I've noticed that my destructive force aa is not working. I have it at rank 3 and my monk's name is Jorl. I have the most recent spell file. Is this happening to anyone else?

I am having the same issue. I have confirmed it over several zones and days.

This is a big loss for me cause I am on add duty
