Is it possible to increase the Alternate Advancement (AA) experience rate?
I am offering a step down experience rate - I believe live has implemented this technique.
I propose this example, where 100% is the current rate of 6 man group experience:
0-500 AA's x500%
500-750AA's x250%
750-1000AA's x200%
1000-1500AA's x150%
2000aa's x100%
There are so many quest that I would love to do but the AA's rate is so low that it is a quest on its' own. I would like to be questing while earning AA's rather than separating time.
Additionally, there is a huge penalty when playing multiple characters in a raid where the experience rate is low. Today we "raided" Shadow Haven - to my understanding it has a bonus experience rate - killed 2000+ Shissar's. My alt with a very low, almost new player AA count, received approximately 6 AA's and a guildie reported approximately 10 AA's.
The argument could be made that not all toons were actively participating, even so, there was four real players on the other side of this raid controlling the mass chaos happening in the zone. The group effort put forward by these individuals could be thrown bone and an A+ for effort in the form of AA's to all the toons involved.
Ultimately, the raid experience bump from last year is welcome, but it seems more like a punishment to kill npc's in a raid. I propose raid experience rate be equal to having a 6 man group with the given experience rate from the example above. This allows peeps to just hanging out in a raid 24/7 with some friends for ease and maneuverability.
I enjoy countless hours spent on the server. However, justification is questioning the time allotment towards grinding AA's on top of the time taken questing for the next reward. All I ask is to adjust the time that seems to be split between fun and grinding. Thanks for hearing me out!
