Both of my machines use the Antec Kuhler 620 watercooler, with Corsair SP120 Quiet edition fans on, and corsair AF120 fans on the case. Very quiet and cool.

Stock fans are great if you like to hear the whine of a fan.

I have 2 machines running 12+ toons each, all nearly silent. I built my machines purely to keep the noise/cost down to a minimum. AMD A8-3870k with 16gb RAM and SSD, Corsair PSU, watercooled CPU with corsair fans, Asus F1A75-V PRO motherboard with lots of shiny anodized heatsinks with 2 x 22" monitors on each PC. No noisy Graphics card, no small whirring fans. When I need a GPU upgrade I can divorce the wife and just throw in a GTX titan :)

When I feel I need a CPU that has some grunt, I turn the insides of my machine into a Multimedia PC for the living room, and buy an Intel :)

Hmmmm, I guess I really haven't noticed the noise because Spotify is always turned up to 11....
Thanks for the memories.
