Wish I could be posting that he was dead, but not quite. Got him to 86% first try, second try 8%. He's tough as hell, we wouldve had him with a third warrior though. The HP/AC on him is crazy! Of course his DPS is too ><

Sorry to say but he still had the old (laughable ae). He will give you now a run for your money - take that literally.

Vulak wasn't or rather isn't really tuned yet at all. Due to me moving and Lillu getting a new job, we have a little less time atm to spend and create content. That's why we are behind schedule. I updated Vulak's stats yesterday to some values to make some sense at all (for being the boss after all).

Loot will be created tonight. I didn't even test whether the ring event is working correctly, but since you got him to spawn, i guess that part is working as intended.

p.s. his melee was lowered to make him a bit more sane, because his AE now is insane ;)

There was no ring event, he spawned after we cleared all of NTOV.

His AE is a killer, his melee is lowered tho.

Based upon the AK clone, he only drops 1 item?

On Live you only had to kill all of the Lord's and Lady's to make him spawn (you could skip all the "mini" bosses) and he also dropped 4 items each kill.

Thoughts on Vulak's difficulty:

It was perfect.

We had a semi-large raid force because more than a few of our members have disappeared recently. Quite honestly, we were pretty much wiped too. Tanks were down (including Jeido AA res'd - full health, no res effects), DPS was mostly down, and at the very least Jerant was dead (don't know about the other clerics). I was zoning when he died, but it seemed to me that it was due to evasive discs that we managed the last 3-5% of his health.

I'm not touting our horn either, but I think we also executed the kill as good as we could without any serious flaws. Vulak is a destroyer and will easily chew through a raid force not on the ball, but he's not so difficult that he's unkillable. I'd also say that a majority of our mains are 50+% tov quest armor equipped now with the few key players at 75-100%.

Great job on balancing him.
