The Forest

Okay, don't get me wrong, the forest zone is really well done and I love the work that went into such an astounding starter area. But I am thinking we need a higher level hangout. I am sure the more people we bring in, the more that place is going to fill, and it will be extremely crowded. Just a suggestion : Firiona Vie, would be an excellent hang out, its huge, spacey, and many MANY thing can be done with it.

SIDE NOTE *
Just wondering, will there ever be level restrictions for the low level zones ? Or has that even been discussed?

Actually, i like the idea to have 1 central hub that is filled with life instead of 2 zones where people can meet (or don't meet because they are too low/high).

As far as the crowding goes - i don't see this as issue yet either or do you experience alot more lag in THF than in any other zone?

Level restrictions to zones - there is a minimum requirement for most of the custom zones but i guess you mean it the other way round, right? Prevent highlevel people from entering low level zones?

Right, but the crowding issue is of now, not a problem. I'm just thinking ahead, I guess most guilds will start grouping up in the raid zones rather than in the central hub. We will see I guess. :)

EDIT* Just thought about it, your right the 1 central hub is a good idea, I guess separating people would be kinda anti social. But, I guess that is what the tour guide is for. I dunno, I just know if this server keeps bringing in people it will eventually get packed.

I lag more in THF than anywhere else by a great margin, but I also have a low quality laptop I play on so I will likely experience it before anyone else. It is absolutely video lag as it only happens while moving around.

I'm not complaining though as that zone is so small you can get around it pretty fast even if video lagged.

Yeah, but for those who have low grade pc's and laptops, I feel for them, once that zone becomes the hub of some 100+ people, its gonna hurt you folks. :(

There are ways around real bad lag and there isn't too much trouble ... personally I can do just fine even with severe lag by going into 1st person and looking straight down. You get to know NPC's by their feet!! Simple things can also make a huge difference like names for short term problems (ie. THF lag)

In large raids on live I would keep an eye on my position by having the screen tipped up just far enough to see the mobs feet. I REALLY wish they made a 3d target ring which was directional ... that'd have been perfect.
