New favorite event!

Beat the Adrianna event tonight, after helping vaion tweak and test the event, I can honestly say it's the best / most enjoyable event I've experienced on an emulator. Fun, challenging, a solid strat is required, very well thought out and fun to run through. Just wanted to give a bit of feedback, as I feel all I've been doing is giving bug reports and suggestions to tweak certain things, dev's never get enough compliments!

Not sure if it's a bug or not, but was messing around with WtD earlier-- the Drachnid aoe seems to happen much more frequently than 12 seconds-- my log was literally something like--

You are struck by the Drachnids!
WtD misses you,
WtD misses you
You are struck by the Drachnids!

Then got smacked by it again before he had a chance to try to hit me. Anyone else notice this? There's also a good chance I'm just being a sissy, just seemed like a disconnect between the DB and how often I was being smacked by it. :D

a lot of mobs in DS proc their AE's. i'm not sure if this is intentional or not.

Yeah, noticed that on the werewolves. If it is a proc rate, WtD seemed to have about the same proc rate as the wolves for me.

What's there saying that the drachnid aoe should be every 12 seconds? If you're looking at the allaclone, that's the recast time, but if it's a proc and not a spell cast, then the recast time has nothing to do with how often it procs. I'm against changing anything in DS that's already been beaten as it's obviously doable and the zone has already received multiple fixes that IMO trivialize something that's already been done in a more difficult state.

Sorry if I sound bitter or angry, but it's been fairly commonplace over the last year for encounters to be retuned due to some suggestions / feedback made about the difficulty of the events in raid zones. DS is a zone that's going to seperate those who can pull together actual strats and work as a raid and those who simply throw toons at an encounter. ( Disclaimer: I'm not directing any of this towards you Bahana, just wanted to put in my two cents on this )

Haha, no worries. I was just a little shocked. Zi'Thuul seemed like a relative push-over, but I'm reserving judgement for when we actually kill him to see if something surprising happens. So when I tried to pull WtD and lost about 40k hp in no time flat due to proc damage, I was like 'woah!'

I wouldn't have mentioned anything except that I believe WtD had his AoE retuned recently because of the changes to bots and I honestly have no idea how often you guys raid the first tier of DS anymore.

That said, if it's the intended behavior, I am definitely not asking for anything to be made easier! To restate: generally, I ask if something's intended or not if I'm surprised. I am in no way saying that it should be easier, only asking to make sure that I'm not trying to battle a typo in the DB or something (this has happened before!). :D

I'm actually pretty curious how far we can get in DS with Pickles insanely small roster. Going to give it the old college try this weekend hopefully and see if we can move a bit deeper in.

Hopefully some freaking dark stones drop soon too, seriously, like 4 clears of that little walkway for 1 stone.

I think I spoke too soon Bahana.

I was told by a guildie that all mobs are now proccing their aoe's / effects instead of casting them or using them on a timer. We just tried doing a different mob in the zone with the same proc and harney got essentially death touched in two different attempts, one where DI went off. I couldn't even heal myself at all, so yes, I think there is an issue.

I pm'd vaion about the problem, I didn't realize this change went in!

It appears that the Zi`Thuuli event Respawn timer is a bit delayed, took 3 attempts before downing him last night - each one we failed we waited an extra 5-9 minutes before we got the shout that it would be 20min, and each time it was 20min from that point - i can post logs. but was wondering if this is an issue with us still haveing people in zone or if its an issue with the reset.

Fun fight btw! looking forward to seeing more!
