The whole instance does seem to shut down. I had another character at zone in just sitting, collecting a few nice points, and it was link dead as well. So this character was not near the spam or corpse drops. I have another character that runs solo on its own PC it also times out.

Here is what happens to me, I had to /q all, as camping just hung at log out. Then after everyone had either /q or crashed out I could log back into what seemed like a new instance. I only say new cause all corpses from the event where gone.

I thinking something that either lags us all into being out of sync, or maybe something in the script that is causing an issue with because we kill Vist to fast :)

I don't consider this a major issue, as it happens fairly rarely. Its just one of those things, like the power going out during a thunderstorm.

Thanks for your consideration and time.

Ah yea that sucks. Like I said had one the other day as well.
It might be related to the eqemu login being dumb the last few days.
As for filtering client side I tested a stripped down spells_us and spells_en file and its helped me a little with sync issues.

All of mine go through the THF private login server. With that said would that rule it out as a potential cause?

Hmm something strange going on. 3 zone crashes tonight doing Vistrinda. One at 97% or there about. One at 7%. And one at 37%.

It's like the old DSK zone crashes, lag meter counts down to 0%. Haven't seen those in a while.

I can confirm this one. We had 3 zone crashes, all the same type (no other crash tho). It must be a script issue, not a code issue and should be relative easy to fix. Thanks Sticky for posting.

Found the potential issue with Vistrinda in Nadox. Was a chance that she could look at a pet on the hatelist and try to push some client only data/functions onto them.

Also cleaned up a few of the trash scripts and Zethurim's script some. Found a few potential crashes that could happen if the planets were aligned just right.

Modified the code and should be working properly with next reboot.
Oh the fun you all are going to have in DSK3...

Awesome thank you Vaion. We will let you know if we experience any more issues after next reboot.

Thanks a lot for reporting. Got the crashdump too. All set for a fix. :)
