Zenurix encounter feedback

Following on from the DSK 3 thread feedback,

Not sure anything needs to be fixed but thought I'd start a discussion.

The only other encounters I've had trouble with were Zenurix. Basically I just geared up with remove curse clickies and overwhelmed the encounter by having more hitpoints than the "bombs" that go off. It was too hard running individual toons out of the room and back in again because they were random and there'd be 2-3 (poor memory!) at a time.
Finding the right toon via Alt tab/using mouse on the taskbar and then running them out, before it goes off was very difficult.

As I say, I now just overwhelm the encounter by gear. I can live through the bombs unless it happens right next to each other, in which case they just get rezzed and come back to dps. I have enough toons and dps that it's not really a strategic win. Not sure everyone will have that luxury - but it's a trival encounter when the gear is high enough.

I leave these threads up for a lil bit before we do any changes so the community can chime in. If there's any suggestion how to 'improve' these encounters, please let us know. :)

I could never win this event, until one day I could. This after farming Chaos a lot, getting various VT pieces, and of course donating to the cause I love, a lot. This begs the question, is the gear below Chaos effective enough to allow a boxer to win? What about a solid group? A small raid? I don't have the answer and cannot learn it, since I won't fail for the fun of it, but I guess I agree with Tysin.

It's evil, until it isn't.

Of course, that has ever been the "fun" of EQ. It's evil, you eventually win, feel confident, and then the next thing spanks you back to your humble beginnings, and you start over.
