Visible Buff Bars
Long-duration buffs
Short-duration buffs/songs
Invisible Buff Bars
Focus effects

If one Worn effect has +100 AC and another has +50 AC. You will have +150 AC. If the effect is a modifier (typicaly %-based), then the greatest % is the only one used. If you have Ferocity IX and Ferocity X, Ferocity X will win and Ferocity IX will not be used. The % mods are, stackable, between Buff Bar types, though. If you have a Ferocity IX (worn) effect and a Worn2 Ferocity IX, then they should add together in the same way that Focus and Long-duration buffs do above.
Invisible but unique Buff Bars
Worn effects
Worn2 effects
AA effects
Each Worn and Worn2 effect has its own Buff Bar. It's like every effect having a unique slot, so everything stacks, but like Selo's vs SoW, even though they stack only the best % mod of that buff bar type is used. That is why Selo's Acclerating Chorus and the Fleet of Foot AA and the Worn2 movement speed item in VT all add up together. Different buff bar types.
