I don't think so. I've been doing Warrens runs until all my boxes were filled with stuff to sell/craft. Then I would start by doing the easiest recipe until I had no mats, then I would move to the next recipe. Finally, if I had enough mats for an item I would use, then I would do that, otherwise I would keep the mats and repeat from the beginning.
I play a shadowknight and I cycle my bot amongst a Shaman, Enchanter, Druid and Cleric (from most common to least). They all have dropped stuff, as far as I know, and no augments at all. Maybe I crafted some shield for enchanter, but not sure (I've got plenty of mats for smithing anyway).
At this moment, I'm not interested in any wooden item (since bots can't use clickies). I'm only interested in rising my tradeskill for the upcoming alt-p zone.
On another topic, I like this new system and it's the first time I've seen something alike (been afk from eq for a while). I understand it takes time to release content which isn't randomly designed, and the Warrens isn't just random quest npcs dropped here and there that you can see in other custom servers.
However, players usually have more free time than developers, and so I started thinking what would be a good way of spending this time. So I had some ideas you will probably dislike but I'm throwing out anyways just in case.
What about being able to trade levels or no-drop items for aa exp or leadership exp albeit at a low rate? This trade system would be removed/moved to the new zone once it is released, and removed once the final lvl 70 alt-p zone is introduced.
Again, just an idea. I don't want to change your vision of the alt-p system.
