350 Jewelry Skill?

What is the best/easiest way to get skill in jewelry to 350? I am trying to do combines for cleric 3.0

I think the skill needed should be lowered. If you need a Grandmaster and you become grandmaster at 300...... then skill needed should be 300 not 350

I believe it was done like that so there is always a chance it is going to fail - given that it is the epic 3.0.

its trivial 350 and skill needed 350 so have to have 350 just to do the combine and being trival at 350 there will be no fail

So I need to find a way to 350 or find someone with 350

With the tradeskill AAs it is a little easier (50% chance). I can't remember for sure... but I think I did it with a skill of 250 or so after three tries.

The Alchemy portion I did hire someone for and even then it took a couple tries.

It is frustrating (especially since I took the solo route), but very worth it.

I have skill of 300 and it say I am not skilled enough to do combine so It can NOT be done with less then 350 it says so on allahclone

I don't remember it having that high of a requirement. Trivial yea but not required before iirc. Maybe something changed. I've done the combine on my ench so I can hop on tonight and try it for you if you're around.

IDK, I remember grinding away at leveling my JC for a long time, got it into the high 200s (250+, but not 300) and finally deciding to just hammer away at combines until it worked - but I could very well have asked for help with that combine too - it has been a while.

Any way does anyone know a good recipe to skill up to 350?


Edit: Note to Devs: May want to check on these combines in the code because after doing some research and some talking with people that HAVE done these combine something is blocking them with the new code. It is not allowing the combine at lower skill lvls with alchemy due to not being able to use the tradeskill window with the lists and such however with the jewelry combine after finding it in the list on the tradeskill window it worked fine but would not work with experimental

To add a tiny bit not directly related here, but the AA tradeskill points don't appear to be working all that well to me.

Making taew bags with all AA skills maxed I still fail 7-10 times in a row quite often.

Bag is trivial at 295 tailoring
skill is at 156
max AA possible

Way less then 50% combine rate and I never get mats back on a fail that I can tell.

Just a heads up if you are thinking 50% sounds viable through AA....test it for yourself first.

I could be doing something wrong too....probably should report this separately actually.

I believe salvage is broken on emu (based on an old post in the AA forum). As for the 50% thing - I 'think' it works (can't find one way or another in tradeskill or AA forums).

Even at 50% chance of success you could fail it 80 times out of 100, statistics and all (in a fair universe every other one would be a success... but that RNG isn't that kind lol). But it is significantly better than say a 3% (or whatever it comes out to when your skill is XXX below required skill and all the fancy calculations that come with that).
