Server just went offline at 8:30 PM CST but were still connected in game unless we zone O.o

im 99% sure everything you do while world.exe is crashed is going to be rolled back. i really hope this isnt the case though cause i just keyed my last char for emp ;\ lol.

the DB and IP connection both up. Which means server itself crushed. Lillu should wake up in about 5 hours by my estimates

Yeah, if anything goes wrong at night, its pretty much fubared until morning =/

So I'm still in POV getting aa exp for my guys, does that mean that all the exp I've gotten since the server went down is gonna poof in 5hrs? Please let me know so I can either stop wasting time or keep going.

it is possible. The zone data all loads when zone boots, and can remain indefinitely, until zone shuts down. But your character updates most likely are not being recorded into DB.
This is just a guess, but I think its a reasonable one.

More then likely it will, i dont think it saves once the world server goes down.


I really wish we had a night time GM who could reset the server or something >.<
