Here's a running comparison I've been keeping with my warrior. I have a very proc heavy setup that includes a bard and shaman, so my DPS has taken a decent hit. Anyway, here's what I posted in the server update thread for a before the patch parse and a day of patch parse:
The Progenitor on 3/5/2011 in 198sec
Zilahik
--- DMG: 713724 (100%) @ 3605 dps (3605 sdps)
--- DMG to PC: 144721 @738dps
Healing for: Zilahik -vs- The Progenitor: -- Zaak: 48506 -- Zilahik: 43307 -- Zarahak: 12760 -- Zurak: 3321
The Progenitor on 3/7/2011 in 434sec
Zilahik
--- DMG: 722244 (49.29%) @ 1664 dps (1664 sdps)
--- DMG to PC: 555900 @1287dps
Healing for: Zilahik -vs- The Progenitor: -- Zaak: 429326 -- Zilahik: 27690 -- Zarahak: 23990 -- Zurak: 6496
I did prog again tonight with the same chars, buffs, discs, gear, etc.
The Progenitor on 3/9/2011 in 299sec
Zilahik
--- DMG: 768669 (63.04%) @ 2571 dps (2571 sdps)
--- DMG to PC: 245361 @823dps
Healing for: Zilahik -vs- The Progenitor: -- Zaak: 146356 -- Zilahik: 37818 -- Zarahak: 20680 -- Zurak: 4704
In short, it looks like tanking is roughly back to where it was. My melee dps is still down and it took me about a minute and a half longer to kill the same mob with the same chars, gear, and buffs as before the patch. Proc dps was reduced significantly (expected and in patch notes), but I was more surprised by actual melee dps being reduced. Here's a pre patch breakdown of dps:
Hit (procs mostly): 2484 dps
Slash (I use 1hs in both hands): 1104 dps (66.3% accuracy, 344 average hit)
Post patch, ran tonight:
Hit: 1923 dps
Slash: 635 dps (53.3% accuracy, 272 average hit)
Looks like accuracy took a dive along with average hit. Could have something to do with relatively short parses and I can't really say if that's a statistically significant difference or not.
