While im not asking for strats im just saying it seems to me that relying on bots to do a players job is a bit of a crutch that shouldnt be there, now i am in a unique situation where my guild has a large number of active players, not just af ew boxing many, and as such we are able to control tanking very easily without the added stress and pressure of more toons.
jsut my 2 cents on the bot issue here.
Nexor wrote:In that case let me explain why it was impossible for Tank or even several Tanks to do there job.
Lets just call him WtD had several AE.
1. Fear
2. Knockback/Gravity Flux ( possible was single target)
3. Blind
Those 3 even in combination wouldn't had been bad cause Knight Tanks with the AAs are immune to fear, KB/GF was countered by using levi which is allowed in the zone and i think his blind was cureable.
Well if it was only those 3 AE but the thing is he had more AE .......
4. FD
5. Debuff that had a -threat component in it.
And all those had a AE range of around >300 and yes you could hide from the AE but the main problem here is the AE FD which prevented more or less the use of Player Tanks.
His melee dmg wasnt even that high just the Dmg you also recieved from AE dots/DD made him extra crispy err hard.
Since Vaion now said WtD was a exception i kinda must remove my Statement that it was almost necessary to use a Bot.
However those Guilds that will enter DS better have a geared Knight Tank if they think they can handle the Stuff in DS like lower tiers without.
