Firenze i feel your pain. If you look at the 3 priest classes, why would anyone choose a druid vs the other 2? The only things druid have now is epic debuff. Shm can heal just as well and have better buffs. Cleric heals much better and can group heal along with better buffs too. Other than healing, the only other option the druid has is dmg, but thier nukes and dots produce pitiful dmg.
If you look at the rank 1-4 custom spells, the druid spell Animal Attunment does not even work correctly past rank II(slows the pet instead of hasting it), and even if it did, it would still be useless as the druid pet is so weak and dies quickly.
While the shm gets goldy conversion which is an amazing buff. And cleric gets unwavering faith which is also very good and very useful.
They have stated that due to the exploit, mana flare on procs will not be reinstated, at least not any time soon.
We have been having a conversation about this problem elsewhere so i thought i would share some of it with you.
Vaion has asked for some input on ways to improve the druid class dps. Since you also play a druid help us come up with some ideas. Below are some of the things i suggested.
A nuke with a short duration DOT attached to it would be nice, like this live spell
