Ahh the never ending druid balance. Imo druids should be able to bring more to a raid than quick heals which to be honest, if its a decent raid druids not gonna need to be healing in the first place. I say givem like 3 stackable super low resist high mana cost dots maybe around 2k a tick each (after focus) then lettem nuke if they wanna try and do more dps resist or not. Or even some of those nifty dots that increase in damage as it nears completion. Heals imo are fine, dps of course shouldn't be near a pure caster class but yea they need some love in the dps department.

I do not play a druid but feel sorry for those that do. If the pet proc buff is castable on others pets that buff itself almost makes me wanna create a druid cast the buff then park it in a corner. lmao

Firenze i feel your pain. If you look at the 3 priest classes, why would anyone choose a druid vs the other 2? The only things druid have now is epic debuff. Shm can heal just as well and have better buffs. Cleric heals much better and can group heal along with better buffs too. Other than healing, the only other option the druid has is dmg, but thier nukes and dots produce pitiful dmg.

If you look at the rank 1-4 custom spells, the druid spell Animal Attunment does not even work correctly past rank II(slows the pet instead of hasting it), and even if it did, it would still be useless as the druid pet is so weak and dies quickly.

While the shm gets goldy conversion which is an amazing buff. And cleric gets unwavering faith which is also very good and very useful.

They have stated that due to the exploit, mana flare on procs will not be reinstated, at least not any time soon.

We have been having a conversation about this problem elsewhere so i thought i would share some of it with you.

Vaion has asked for some input on ways to improve the druid class dps. Since you also play a druid help us come up with some ideas. Below are some of the things i suggested.

A nuke with a short duration DOT attached to it would be nice, like this live spell http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/spel ... pell=25892

Or a nuke that does dmg to the target and heals the target of target, like live spell http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/spel ... pell=22629

Also think spells like http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/spel ... spell=9764 and http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/spel ... spell=9785 would help bring back a melee style of play for us when soloing.

I like the idea of the nuke that heals targets target actually , would bring something unique to the druid, aslong with a copy of godly or a druid only really cool buff and we should be set

a nuke that healed ToT or even a dot that applied a stackable HoT to ToT would be pretty cool imo, add a nice balance of heal/dps that i think alot of people who play druids are looking for.

Hey! how about make use of the pet when it dies it lets off a big nuke or an ae heal(i actually had a dream about mages that had pets they would send in and would ae heal when they died or nuked depending on the pet lmao)

The idea of a pet that on death casts a spell was on live too. Mages had an aa pet that when it died mem wiped everything around it. If EMU supports that spell/effect that would be an interesting upgrade to help druids.
