I've worked out the problem and it's MQ.
Basically despite me /end macros (which also stops healers healing), turning off assist - so melee don't run in, my toons still run into Vule at the 34% mark. I'm not sure what to do to fix it, given I've basically butchered my kissassist configs just for this one encounter. I've gotten rid of pets, everything. When half the raid runs in (I don't know why MQ is doing this) they get blown up (penalty no 1) AND Vule gets healed for everyone who dies. So that basically means I have to re-summon corpses, rez......and then they charge in again or they stand still, buffless. I manually turn on /autofire to attack but he despawns because it takes too long to get him back down from 100% to 20%.
This encounter is NOT intended for MQ play, and after over 2 weeks of trying.
There's 0 other plays on my time of day, so the only way to experience things here is MQ. I'm not up with coding
things, so I'm not going to try learn E3.
It's pretty pointless continuing on a server when you've got to completely turn things off and on just for one fight, and even then you've got no control over how the encounter is going to turn out. This isn't the only encounter that is not MQ friendly, but needing to get past this to get rid of the debuff for VT (I know I can kill bosses, loot items and turn in back flags, but that is very, very arduous and boring) and seems like I need the armor from DSK 3 to be able to upgrade items in VT.
I'm pretty well done unfortunately, as the server was great until here. But this is infuriating, and without anyone online for help, rather pointless.
