*********** SELF ****************
Vlar on 11/05/2010 in 110sec

Total
--- DMG: 649500 (100%) @ 5905 dps (5905 sdps)

Loly
--- DMG: 649500 (100%) @ 5905 dps (5905 sdps)
------ Total: 649500 -- Hit: 649500
------ Normal rate: 100% (100% of DMG)
------ Attempts: 30 -- Hits: 30 -- Misses: 0 -- Defended: 0 -- Accuracy: 100%

2nd ONE

Vlar on 11/05/2010 in 106sec

Total
--- DMG: 739200 (100%) @ 6974 dps (6974 sdps)

Loly
--- DMG: 739200 (100%) @ 6974 dps (6974 sdps)
------ Total: 739200 -- Hit: 739200
------ Normal rate: 100% (100% of DMG)
------ Attempts: 30 -- Hits: 30 -- Misses: 0 -- Defended: 0 -- Accuracy: 100%

*************BARD ADDED (My raid situation)*********
Adding my bard (epic clic and ancient call of power (still messed) which is for me, my raid situation:

Vlar on 11/05/2010 in 113sec

Total
--- DMG: 818550 (100%) @ 7244 dps (7244 sdps)

Loly
--- DMG: 818550 (100%) @ 7244 dps (7244 sdps)
------ Total: 818550 -- Hit: 818550
------ Normal rate: 100% (100% of DMG)
------ Attempts: 31 -- Hits: 31 -- Misses: 0 -- Defended: 0 -- Accuracy: 100%

2nd ONE:

Vlar on 11/05/2010 in 108sec

Total
--- DMG: 844650 (100%) @ 7821 dps (7821 sdps)

Loly
--- DMG: 844650 (100%) @ 7821 dps (7821 sdps)
------ Total: 844650 -- Hit: 844650
------ Normal rate: 100% (100% of DMG)
------ Attempts: 30 -- Hits: 30 -- Misses: 0 -- Defended: 0 -- Accuracy: 100%

Depending on critics (lucky or not lucky):
Self : DPS = 6K4
Raid: DPS = 7K6
For 110 max sec then OOM. (2x110sec + 15 sec gather click) = 4min with a decent dps.

Tyler, i know you are trying hard to balance the casters but you do realise how irrelevant this parse is? Its casting on a training dummy in the forest. Wait for some real parses on mobs like CT or Dracoliche. Trust me it will be a different story with resists, resists, resists...

You know that the spells in question have -400 and -750 base resists? Throw in Shaman/Enc and nothing should resist ever.

Now if you chose not to use Shaman and Enchanter thats your choice, but don't tell me resists are too high.

OK my numbers aren't as scary as Lola's but over all about a 450% - 500% increase in dps.
my previous best before epic 2.8 (plane of air aug) was: 974 dps over 200 secs 194735 total.

Raid Buffed + Flaming Familiar of Ro
MY BEST
Total Damage done: 417957
Total DPS for event: 5036
Total time for event: 83
Ancient: Core Fire 1
Chaotic Detonation 7
Complete Destruction 1
Spark of Ice 3

Self Buffed + Flaming Familiar of Ro
MY BEST
Total Damage done: 315111
Total DPS for event: 4201
Total time for event: 75
Ancient: Core Fire 1
Chaotic Detonation 7
Colored Chaos 1
Complete Destruction 1

Now if I can get my numbers up into Lola's Range I'd be an even Happier Camper =)

BUT, as devil advocate, I do have to say that a wizard can't spam nuke as in these parses. The wizard will get summoned and squished pretty quickly.

Over a long fight, Melees are still going to way out DPS wizards.

Keep up the good work,

Thanks Karhaug for your parses!
(I am actually editing with 10 parses Self + 10 parses Raid buffed)

I do not agree with : "BUT, as devil advocate, I do have to say that a wizard can't spam nuke as in these parses. The wizard will get summoned and squished pretty quickly."

I never got agro from a single raid boss once Agro is set up by our War - I use ancient greater concussion (from token of eternal ice) & Mind crash AA (once an hour). Will need to see if with Wiz up those last days it is still the same or not :)
(I do not speak about DT Mobs / reset agro mobs which are fun and oblige me to play differently).
But most of our raid boss and Tank + Dps as hell.

This is my wiz using true fire 12.4k mana pool 661 seconds of casting using rain book clicky epic 2.0 and stacking two other rain spells. Sune buffed, Ro's familiar off and iceflame of eci stacking with manaflare. No mana was gathered and when the 661 seconds were over I was left with 38% mana and many of the hits were resisted altho i dunno why the gamparse doesnt show that accurately. Those numbers may seem a bit low but if rains were inceased a bit(resists adjusted) and the familiar made to stack with manaflare you would get the best of both worlds. You would have big nukes when you wanted and almost unlimited mana high dps for big bosses. This is only the rain hitting vlar if you want me to post the spilloff onto the other two I can its about 400k less damage since the epic 2.0 was only hitting vlar

Vlar on 5/11/2010
Saldarus -vs- Vlar:
-- DMG: 2787437
-- DPS: 4217
-- Scaled: 4217
-- Hit: 2787437
-- Non-crit rate: 100%
-- Attempts: 629
-- Hits: 629
-- Accuracy: 100%
-- Avg Hit: 3900
-- Max hit: 80600
-- DMG to PC: 0

Thx but rains dont count really. We need single DD spells against 1 specific target because thats what Melee do.

That dps is on a single target...rain or not it is dps. There are only two ways that wizards are going to be brought in the line of being top dps. One is big nukes with lower mana consumption and faster cast times the other is rain spells that stack and do constant dps. The epic nuke has already started a flame fest and that doesnt help those who have not completed it yet. The rain idea is a great way to go my data shows that and without having some insane huge nuke that people are going to flame about and without having to complete your epic 2.0 to achieve.
