im not sure what stats/effects are on enchanter 2.0 but if anything they could put a New C clicky on it and that way bots wont have access to it. But still i think raids atleast from now on need to be looked at that way enchanters will be needed to mez.

Lets take Magnetic Behemoth for example. Does anyone remember raiding this guy on live? u would have to have 4 enchanters or 4 bards to Mez each corner so the spiders wouldent enter into MB's room and wipe the raid. People sought after enchanters just because they made raids so much easier. There are a bunch of other raids i could tell u that required an enchanter or two.

I know alot of people love the buff bot. but it doesn't take away the fact that buff bot makes alot of the buffer classes none playable. Yes they can still be played and well to but you dont get the most use out of them. take enchanters for example unless they are given a buff that is better then the buff bot C# they wont even need to learn the MGB AA for raids but i dont think clerics nor any buff class does on this server just cuz everyone just buffs up before going in the instance.

What is needed (but I think this has been addressed recently) is giving chanties a mana regen spell much better than the one provided by Sune. Maybe give it a short duration like 30 min in order not to have the enchanters relegated to buff bots.


That's exactly what i did 2 days ago. The Clairvoyance crack adds 2k mana and double mana regen over the highest, via bot available, crack. Strange and True thought (the poFire/PoAir versions) add 4k mana and 50 mana/tic now and were never available in the first place.

As far as mezzing goes, i gave Encs a raid level mez the same update and new zones (and maybe old too) will feature more adds that are best to be taken by encs or bards (who will also receive a raid level mez soonish).

Then again, i won't force people to "HAVE" Enc on raids. It will be doable without them but it will be more convinient if you have one. Same for the Debuff, Buff that went in with that update.

I confirm that +Dmg spell efect part of "Poison of the Brainbender" spell is working fine.
Also need to check if there is any conflitct with druid 2.0 effect.

Thanks Lola and yes, that my only concern. I created the (enc) spell in a way that it has a different slot used for the damage portion increase effect than the Druid spell, but you never know.

Don't forget that the enc 2.0 has teh -100 magic resist which helps alot. Plus ToV legs are nice for charming to add dps. In PoAir you can charm some of the flying worm things (Not even going to try and spell their race atm) and they hit for 1-3k per hit last time I was there. Granted it's risky if charm breaks but once you get the hang of it they become some pretty good dps.

Noticed last night the enchanter epic 2.0 clicky is 2 min recast. Being a tash and a very important part of enchanters line of spells, shouldn't this be like 30 second recast cuz every mobs loves a tash! Would add another spell slot for enchanters.

We wanted to change the 2.0 to a different effect or some people actually prefered it. Changed the effect to be 12 secs recast, not 120 secs as before.
