Sort of. But not as simple as that. I have the same numbers repeated twice, but the first half of the name that is in alpha is what changes.

It could quite honestly be a similar issue, though. What I don't understand is how it accepted the user/pass at least once and then not at all after wards.

A little more information on the error (I am still getting it on only one account, which happens to be my warrior. No big kills for me!):

- If I log in a character on the account on Titanium, then try logging in on SoD, it will kick the character out on Ti, so it is obviously getting far enough to acknowledge that I want to log into THF.

- The SoD client will not get far enough to set the gamma or stop the expansions ticker from scrolling. If the ticker doesn't scroll or stops scrolling, I know that I will get in.

- The error occurs within about 10 seconds.

I had this error start to happen on yet another account. This time my monk's account. I was able to log the account in multiple times throughout the morning yesterday without issue. Then suddenly yesterday evening, I could not. The original account affected is still producing this same error, as well.

same thing happenning to me, so I'm gonna grab a clean install from Steam today and will test again.

I doubt its the install since when you use the same install for a different account it works fine.
In my case and other players case we can log in fine with other accounts and it affects only from what i seen one account of multiple from the same user.

Let me see if we can nail it a bit more down.
Does anyone else uses the same email and password for the SoD?
If so did the account that can't log in is the one you used first ?

Cause that is what i basically did which could mean that the problem might be the encryption with the email address on the LS server but will try it with a different email and see if that changes anything, cause that is the last thing i can think off what we as users can do to fix the problem.

Honestly, to me it ws totally random. Worked for a bit totally fine, then crashed, then couldn't log back ever again. I tried another toon, it worked, then he crashed too after hours of being online.. etc etc. Downloading the client while we speak anyways.

Well gonna try install SoD on my other computer and see if it works than.

Nope no luck same error.

As the link in the first post mentioned, the eqemu devs think it has something to do with running the login server on a 64 bit os and things go a bit weird. They don't know what is causing the error, sadly
