nope, it's running at a different host and no need to reboot.

I gave up on the SOD client for now. Hopefully there will be a fix for this issue soon. I wish there was some way I could help, but I'm not very savvy with this sort of thing.

i had this issue as well in the beginning.
After a crash of everquest on vista 64 bit i tried to login in THF and i could not get past the server select.
i tried to login into another server and that gave me no problem.
I then reinstalled titanium and then i could login.

So i suppose it is one of those files created by THF on local machine that gives issues.
Are there any file by character and server on the local machine installed?

THF has 2 custom files, the Spell File and the GlobalLoad file, thats is. You have to download it from the portal.

The client itself will generate some files when you log in to any server, but thats not suctom (works the same way as on any other server) and shouldn't cause any issue.

the globals and spells files i did install so that was not the problem at that moment.
Anyway for me it was fixed after a reinstall of everquest.

yeah, tbh, I think my patcher nija patched some files before I started to play and actually set the shortcut. So I'm guessing these issues come from a semi-patched client.

I have a clean SoD install now, so will test it again soon, once I get the time..

Another observation: I got the same 'unknown error' when I tried to log in when the server was going down (apparently I timed it just right so that the server showed as up when I first got into the login server) on an unaffected account. After the server came back up the account could get in fine.
