That way both sides compromise, higher levelled players can mentor their friends, and it doesn't last forever, and abuse of the system hopefully won't occur.

Wow that is a great idea....I have an idea to add to it. To make sure that ppl are only using to to help others, make it so that the toon getting the help is the one that does the turns in of the token, and then have the system set everyone else in the group to that players level.
As soon as you leave the group then you go back to your real level,

if you wanted to go even farther then you could put the De leveler in each zone that you wanted to allow De leveling if you leave the group/zone you would go back to your real level

aye, the problem with this is that everyone would create lvl 1 toons to give the tokens to their main character to grind exp..

Let's brainstorm here tho, we might come up with a working solution tho id this feature is really that much misses.

Do what they did on EZ server.

Allow deleveling again, and provide zones specifically for grinding. On EZ server they used PoFire. There were a ton of barely dark blue mobs as far as the eye could see, and their loot tables were completely empty so they would just fade away when killed thus not creating any corpse lag.

The spawn times were quick.

This provided players with pure xp zones where they could farm xp to their heart's content without disrupting new players who were playing through the custom zones that offered loot.

The problem is that the exp rate is already fast, and we don't really want to offer an even easier and faster way to grind AAs. Easy = no achievement, no fun.
Delevel npc was there for mentoring new players, but players used it to grind exp. So the real point here would be to help new players.

I'm guessing we wouldn't be having this conversation if there was a way to temporarily deactivate AA or more importantly AA xp server side per character?

I was trying to think of how you could implement it if it isn't already there, but everything I thought of would put an immense strain on your DB server since it would have to check a flag per character for every xp gain. Ouch.

Yea - the idea itself is not bad - delevel to lev1 and level to 70 again and upgrade a ring or whatever they use on EZ each time you do so.

However, the downside is, Donators become insanely overpowered for example (let's not start where they are now please) since they are not extremely useful once from 1-70 but like 20 times if you know what i mean.

Low level zones are already totally poluted and i witnessed first hand how little respect is shown for other camps or players. I don't want to enforce this with such types of quest.

Oh my goodness not that quest

If you implement that quest i'm going to haunt you for the rest of your lives Tyler and Lillu

Most unoriginal quest ever....

How about more zones to spread the lower level population, probably already mentioned here somewhere but i didnt read this thread in its entierty.

lol, we don't want any "brainless" timesink for sure like that one, but let's face it, players actually do that, just look at EZ population, so who knows. ;)

A lot more boxing there as well remember although no scientific basis behind that and only from feedback from the playerbase.

EZ has been around quite a while, not sure why, such a shit server

So anyways, how about my idea of more zones for the lower levels to spread the population?
