I am, though, kinda concerned that I dish out significantly more with 3 "lowly" spells lvl 70, 67 and 64, 2 of them being unfocused, than with my best, heavily focused, ldon spell. Not only tossing more damage, but also costing a lot less, allowing for sustained damage with only breaks to refresh mana flare and elemental fury, and clicking AAs and toys.
Subliminal message : Thunder of Ice as a rain ?I tried for an hour last night to replicate Eskarina's 6k output and it's just not happening. Perhaps there is something I'm missing...
Raw awesomeness

Thing is, im also concerned about the idea of people casting low level spells to "exploit" the use of Manaflare. So either, we have to nerf mana flare DPS or nerf rain spell casting time so you cant use the rains to that extend.
Solution would be to lets say double the casting time on a rain spell and upgrade the damage it does accordingly.
Also, custom high level nukes have a very low resist chance while rains are known to be resisted quite often.
Anyways, nothing is decided yet. What do you guys think?

As for rains i don't think you can send your DPS thru the roof with that, i think it was already tested&stated somewhere on the forums and the result was at best a lowish dps situationnally useful like when a raid target AE nukes manapools down.
It might need some investigation to verify that, but as long as nobody can spam an insta-clickie with manaflare on, i ain't see any real exploitable way of using manaflare so far.
