The best HoT cleric got is also the best HoT Sham and Druid got http://www.thehiddenforest.org/spell.php?id=8464 Chaotic Elixier , but realy now when do you think a Regen spell would have been absolutly necessary besides maybe when it comes down to lvling.

The only time i think a Regen spell would come handy is when the group would take permanent dmg due enviromental dmg like Lava in your normal boss fights where melee take rampage dmg and depending on additonal AE dots/dmg it wouldnt help much with caster health regen either.

I agree that regen should not be a replacement for healing, but it should be useful, even at the high end. Adding in some regen spells that only drop off end game mobs, no drop so that they don't unbalance lower progression.

Even at 1000/tick, you are only talking 10000hp regened per minute. The TRASH in T3+ easily does 10 times that in DPS. Most boss fights the AE ramp will be 10-15 times that amount and AE spells will do similar damage if not more when you count that many AE are a combination of DD and DoT.

I don't think that adding in some regen spells that focus out to 250-500 per tick spread out in stages per tier would be particularly overpowering but it would make it somewhat useful.

Well why not go a different route than to make HP regen a purpose at endgame instead of saying it need a boost , give it a additional effect instead i could see a small atk / ac or dmg mitigation group effect added to it appealing.

Not sure wehre you get your numbers from Loly,

before yesterday:

DRU regen 150 pts/tic
SHM regen 60 pts/tic

Now SHM is 120 pts/tic.

That's fine imo. No need to add anything else to this. Only causes stacking issues.
Item Change -> Reload needed
Spell Change -> Reload AND new Spellfile needed
