There should be no reason for people who can kill mobs that flag them for Tier4 to have to go back and individually flag their new toons for each Tier. If this was the case, then why does a Token of Xegony flag the player for all previous tiers? Please do this also so it frees up the lower raiding Tiers for newer players. Its not exactly easy to sell a server to someone when they see all the starting tiers wiped empty by people further progressed.

This is an entirely different situation to what was occuring when the server was first launched. As I said before, somehow I doubt back then people were in Tier 4 gear keying themselves with Tier 1 mobs.

someone please help me explain the situation. atm, I only see Mofish posting about Emp kill and I still don't understand whats the issue.

- Emp is indeed for HH quest, but anyone having a T4+ access toon has the flag for HH quest too
- I doubt Emp loot is tempting for anyone who has access to higher tiers (specially that PoFire is open)
- Emp flags 18 players in 1 kill (thats a whole guild..)
- Backflag tokens are dropable
- Emp is 24 hours respawn

I understand he isn't up and waiting to be killed all week long (that would be out of balance), but considering all of the above, I'm not sure why Emp kill (for flags) is an issue at all.

p.s. from today, I'll track who's killing Emp and will keep an eye open in case someone doing it to block new guilds.

p.s2. This is not my business, but I saw a player in Mofish who has lots of backflag token banked..

I tend to kill Emp quite often, at least, more often than I would like. Since we tend to get a Vulak token once every five kills or so, when we get a couple of new people in guild or people want to get their alts keyed, we go and kill Emp.

Sleeper is the same deal, except keying takes a lot longer since you only key 2x people instead of 18x or whatever. Can't really recall last time I saw a backflag token for Sleeper and the key mobs are often down (not as often as Emp though).

Not complaining, just trying to put perspective on why Emp. seems to be always down: last time we killed him it was for 3 flags (2 alts and someone in Mofish, I think!), didn't want any loot, didn't need HH. I can try to be better about /ooc-ing flag availability, but I always seem to be in a rush when we kill Emp. :D

As a side thought, what about making backflag tokens Lore and giving them a 1x 100% drop rate? Might help keep them out of market (can't just store a ton of them on 1 toon), plus speed up the backflagging process to keep people like me out of Tier 1 zones (since, it's probably just our luck, but last 5 Vulak runs or so I did, no token, and last 3 Sleeper runs or so I've been on there was no token). Anyway, just an idea, flying off the cuff here.

That wouldn't solve much. The backflag tokens dropping waaaaaaaaay too frequently. Loot chance is now 50% per kills one should drop.
Item Change -> Reload needed
Spell Change -> Reload AND new Spellfile needed

I think it would help, it would stop ppl from killing a mob for just for the PP

It would be an issue IF and ONLY "IF" the Bosses dropped the tokens each and every kill. I have been on several Vulak kills, only to have NO (zero, zilch, nada) Tokens drop. Heck, if we killed Sleeper 5 times and got a token to drop each time, I think there would be massive celebration in our guild as that many "mains" would actually be able to get into Sleepers to finish their 2.0!!
