The Sword is a toy really (the proc) to run some havoc on newb zones.

Well regarding why i said shoulder heck even if it would be usuable with a primary equiped not many bards would use it and just use it from the inventory and the stats of the item would never realy be utilized.

Its just a question/suggestion thats all not that i demand it i just find its a waste that the stats on the flute go to waste .

Yes i am aware of if if at all i would use flute clicky only though not in combat situations i see it more as a resting song than for the purpose of combat since its like 40 hp regen per tick more than Haydn I considering Haydn gives also AC + mini Dis and Poi cure + DS.

Seems like a flute would be reasonably placed in the range slot if you really want to equip it for the stats.

Well yes but seeing majority thinks its not necessary so just leave it, the shoulder slot could had been any slot really just as i wrote it was the first thing that poped in my mind.
And its not like i am saying hey take a Alp Horn or Piano and put it on your shoulders
