If I were of a level that I could have pet focuses as well, I'd be right there with him..

what was the issue with this? i seem to recall it not being an issue as long as you left the focus equipped?

Issue is they don't work at all.

Indeed, and we're going on 2 weeks now of them not functioning at all.

And I just got my VP pants with the best pet focus in game just last week! I'm itching to see how much more of a beast this makes my pet! Not to mention how I'm wanting to buy the Necro donator...but seeing as how it's effect is a pet buff....
