First: I have nothing bad with your comment, indeed: your comment has everything I would like to respond, so take it as no offense.
Second: as developer I want suggestions and good communication, so noone gets into the wrong side of the dick. I do NOT say that LOS will be implemented, I only want to hear oppinions and to know other's thoughts about this theme. So take these NOT as development plan.
So to spook it out finally:
I would like to implement LOS for healing for mobs for sure, but since it has to be fair trade, it would make me think that I should implement it for players as well. Problem is that creatures do AE and PBA damage, I am not having too much knowledge, since I rarely come to play (simple: no time).
My guess is that the time between two AE/PBA attack is too short for a complete heal or too strong for the healers to live it 2+ times or would totally consume the healer's mana. Some peeps dual+ box, so alt-tabbing between characters, this takes time, what would be highly valued if LOS would be implemented.
Ok, so the "what if" section: was thinking about if shortening the complete heals cast time would help? That would make you be able to run out of hide then cast, then run back - would break a CHLine tho' (if there is a CHLine tactics anymore). Even if this would help it would be problem for some to alt tab - would perhaps make you to get more actually "living" players into the group and not say we dont need someone in a guild because we already have such alts like zillions of them. Would perhaps better spot healers help (druids, paladins, etc?) while healers are out in AE (should remove silence, and lower damage tho'?). Would perhaps modifying the healing help like: linking the priest's mana, who gets stunned in a safe spot, but drained, but out of LOS but in range healing the tank, like an odd health/regen battery? This would even make you able to care less for your healer alts, because they do not need a click, since they are constantly "concentrating".
I heard suggestions to leave things this way as now works, but I would like to hear novell ideas about if you would want to change something like this, how would you do that?
