Rogue Stealth & LDoN mobs

Are all the mobs in LDoN zones suppose to be unaffected by a rogue's stealth, even with Shroud of Stealth aa?

My rogue is level 70, maxed hide and sneak skills, and has the Shroud of Stealth AA. Every mob was still able to see her.

I believe it is intended to keep us awesome Rogues from sneak to the end of assassinates and murdering the guy in like 2 minutes. Or CoHing a group to the end of Hards for the same reason, it would really trivialize some of the LDoNs.

Honestly, why would you need to sneak your way around the zone other than to do what the previous poster mentioned?

It was the second assassinate mission I'd tried. The first one failed because I couldn't even find the mob to kill. I was sceptical that there even was a way to win those missions (there's been a coule of collection missions that failed due to being short 1 or 2 drops before).

I was going to scout around to find if the target had even spawned.

As for other reasons to use stealth in an LDoN, You use it to sneak into a room so you can assist the crowd controler with pacify targets.

I see how those are viable options. I guess I never felt the need to worry about scouting and just plowed my way through with 100% trust that I'll complete the mission.

As a note, though, ranger bots can track, albeit not extremely far.

Btw you can't CoTH in LDoN.
