1.5 epic turn in problem

as i was handing the first 2 gems to the 1.5 turn in guy in old seb i tryed to examine one of the gems to make sure it wasn't an augment and then he canceled trade and it says i cant have duplicate lore items and it took 2 of the quest stones that were in the trade box stone of the reckless and stone of the persistent.my characters name is newber is there anyway i can get them back without doing the quest over

I have also the same problem with Stone of Persistent. I tried to just do that part again, but Fangor dident accept my four stones, any chance for some help here ?

Just an idea i figured i can throw out there to get some feedback.

I have a replica of the 1.5 quest except the 4 stones, 4 hearts and 4 eyes are combined into a single task (loot and destroy) then go talk to fangor for the 2nd task to kill a dragon and loot the blood (also loot and destroy) then go talk to fangor again, At this point he gives you 1 single item to take to Sebilis to turn in to port to the epic fairy.

pros:
- only need to loot and destroy all the collected pieces.
- no more items getting ate by fangor, lost or deleted.
- combined task
- no more items hogging up your inventory.
- less item reimbursement for the dev team.
- still 1 item remaining that could be lost, destroyed or ate but i put in a fail safe go re-hail fangor and if you are at that stage fangor will give you a new one.

cons:
- anyone currently tasking in the middle of the older version 1.5 quest has 2 option - finish the older version or start the new version from the beginning. (If this would go live any new questers would automatically be forced into choosing the newer version.)
- dragon "Kill" and blood "Loot" required (blood can be destroyed after looting).
- player confusion because im not re-diting the wiki anytime soon (although the loot methods are pretty much identical you could follow the same write up i guess with the exception of now needing to "Kill one of the Dragons").

Feel free to leave some feedback on the idea of switching to the new version or not either way doesn't mind me much difference.

Changing a few things to a slightly better idea that i might have missed would be posible however if the first thing mentioned is why not make it all 1 task and why is the dragon kill now required or why do we need to run back and forth, just keep in mind its still an "epic quest"

Con : dragon kill must be after the other turn in - if this were changed, I would agree whole heartedly to the new style quest; as it is, those dragons die quickly, even with 2 hour spawn.
When the opportunity arises, you need to be able to go get it. Otherwise, this would create a
worse bottleneck.

Changing this would not make the kill any easier, just make it more accessible.
The stronger bottle neck would be my only concern with your new quest, otherwise looks great.

Could make more of the Dragon's available. Just customize them to be on par with the other Dragons. I don't believe Lady Vox is being used for anything right now.
