I squealed like a little girl irl. I won't lie. I won the EZ server player sponsored lvl 1 gnome pvp last year. I was an avid player on RZ / SZ back in the day. I used to practice dueling my guildmates in the event I had to 1v1 some one of their class. I'm stoked, to say the least.

Anyone else excited to potentially perish at my hands?

I was pretty exited when I saw this Botb tot event.
I have been playing on Vallon zek/zek since everquest first came out. what I miss the most from live is the balanced pvp.

Now about the ToT BoTb, it's gonna be a pain because of the donor gear and the highend gears. it's actually not really possible to ask 2 high end paladin to duel to death.
same goes for warrior with donor bracer heals etc

any wizard can instant kill anyone with 2.0 clickie :p exept maybe some 50k hp warrior.

Anyway , I will be looking for this event because I always loved the BoTb and ToT on live and I have been on almost all of them

I dont think you will have to worry about us folks with donor gear. These boys know it would take an army to hurt a guy like Rotten or the national defence unit to stop guys Dartan. As it states "Custom equally geared and level characters."

As for wizards im sure they are a simple fix on custom spells for the event to bring them in line for a PvP event. I would like to point out nobody sane wants to duel you donators or not firenze you hit like a mack truck even against 10k+ and defensive.

I am looking forward to this, I played an SK/Ranger/Rogue on Tallon Zek for quite a few years before i moved with my friends to a pve server. However even there the Bazaar Arena became my home.

And FYI, I fought Playhouse with my donor rogue/shaman/ranger and never got him under 95 even with Trueshot running. Had to call in the reinforcements (Vaion) to come beat him down... it just backfired when Vaion got trigger happy and killed me too :/

Well I played a cleric from start until luclin. And I hated pvp. I never lost a duel, but never won one either. But that was when clerics dps came from making a pet and quickly buffing it to stay up after a fight. Never played livewhen clerics turned into super solo battle clerics. Dont even know if its true, only snippets I read about them.

even if I hit hard , I can't get you down to 0 hp in less then 1min ( time for the bracer to refresh )

Anyway , I will remove my donor weapon anytime as well as donor gear to duel people around exept some SK or Wiz , I haven't lost a fight in a long time here

My manly squeal wasn't recorded for future posterity, but if I do it again i'll be sure that the mic is recording.

My primary was a monk on SZ in the day. You can't ask for a melee class to be farther down the food chain as far as a fair 1v1 was concerned. For team fights they were amazing, just like warriors, geared or not. I played every class but necro through the years on pvp to differing modicums of success. My only real concern with this contest is: am I limited to only entering for one class =3. It would be a rough decision for me, as my primaries on THF are BST and ROG right now, but I know more than a few people on the server that run different classes that I wouldn't mind bumping off. I may have to defend my self proclaimed "bestlord" title on my ogre though, and get it custom changed to "Best of the Bestlords" =D.

As far as ToT goes, I can sit in on a team if some one has a slot, but I don't think my guild has an interest in putting forth a guild team. I'll have to ask.
