Throwing problem

I have a lev 70 zerker and for some reason throwing isn't working. I would click the range button but it would say I'm not close enough to the mob and when I get closer it says I too close for a ranged weapon, dunno what to do. Haven't tried archery on it yet so I don't know if it would do the same.

Zerkers can't use Bows, so don't bother looking for one to test it. (Unless you meant test bows with another character, then feel free.)

Also, is this only in specific zones?

What kind of mobs are you attacking?

What throwing item are you using?

Have you tried /autofire with a throwing item equipped?

it wont work if you have a non throwing item in your range slot.

Didn't realize Zerkers dont use a bow lol. It happens in any zone against any enemy. I have a ranger alt and he uses his bow fine, haven't try throwing with any other character except my Zerker . I haven't tried autofire, good idea.

Reinstalled EQ and the problem was solved...weird. Thanks anyway!
