Plane of Storms not letting me in

it shows up in the zone list for the fairy but doesn't teleport me.

I updated the spells file, reinstalled the THF installer, restarted the game and nothing happened.

Other players report that it lets them in.

Any ideas why I can't get in? I'm using the SoD client downloaded from steam.

What level are you? I don't recall off the top of my head if storms is one of the odd zones that the fairy lists at 50 or 60 but requires 55 or 65 to get in.

i'm level 70. there's no reason why she wouldn't let me in.

apparently i dont get teleports to bastion either.

edit: i fixed it by installing titanium.

Having the same problem (UF client). Unable to use fairies to zone to BoT and PoStorms.
Level 70 char, receive the emote from the fairy, and nothing, no zone attempt or anything.

Any other fix for this other than reverting to Titanium?

That got it. Copied all BoT and PoS files from my Titanium install - overwrote the ones in my UF install and can now zone to both.

Must have version issues as all files already existed.

I am playing off of UF and do not have the Titanium Install. How does one go about copying these files without having them?

Generally the emu community does not condone sharing of the files.
However if you find me in game, aka prove you have a copy of a client, i'll zip you the files and give them to you.
Unless GM staff says not to do so.
There are torrents out there but last I checked most of them are filled with trojan's and key loggers.
Even if you wanted my files its generally not safe to accept files like this.
There is another method, you can register for a account on the main eq live site, some trial thing and get the files that way.
To save your self the download time just get the patcher downloaded from everquest live then make a COPY of your newest client (UF) and drop it into the copy and run the patcher.
Make sure you are not using the eqhost file changes for eqemu, that way you connect to eq live and patch the missing files.
Good to go.

Shortly eq is going F2P and you can patch to acquire your missing files. At least we hope so.

It's still unavoidable you will need the Titanium version of missing files for the least glitches using the Steam UF client.

For missing files stick to this list plus tox_chr.txt (21 bytes - Titanium source):

Matching the byte size of the files is more important that having the latest version. Live files continue to evolve and already several of the files from the "From Titanium, SoD or Live" section should not be sourced from Live.
