Jaled DAr's Shade for ST key broke?

I acquired the key , walked as close as I could to get the proper hail, and Jaled Dar's Shade doesn't respond...

Is there a trick to it?

As I recall there is no Task interface for the ST key, and there is no conversation flagging like there is between VP key quest-givers. It's probably safe to just hand in the Talismen all at once, without hail.

Pretty sure you just hand him the piece and get the key. However its been over a year since I last did a key.

Ok there is a conversation with him, just had to remove my levi/SoE and jump to the top of his perch(wasn't easy for a gnome let me tell ya) then once beside him, he hails properly. Maybe someone could put a chair on each lvl to make a step?? lol

Having the same problem. Really not sure how anyone gets up there for the dialogue. I was able to get my fat ass ogre up the first platform and that let me hand him the items but on my other chars...no joy.

EDIT: Got it. Standing too close to the platform when jumping will prevent you from making it up. For the vertically challenged...if you stand another character against the platform you'll be able to hurdle that toon onto the next platform if you are not having luck.

I always levitated outside of the locked room and ran up some kind of object until I was really high up. Once high up, I ran over to the door (you should be at the top edge of the door), opening it and floated right to the top of the platform. No jumping required!

Never had problem to jump on plateform. Gotta recheck. Anyway, is it really needed to be close enough to talk to him ? Can't you just give him the talisman from downstairs right away, without talking ?
Anyway, I also heard about people having trouble that did like Noren.

If you can get on the first platform you should be able to hand in the items. I was able to do so on an ogre anyway. Some folks may want to read the dialogue though. There are ways to get up there. Noren mentioned lev and...for me anyway..I just had to jump from further back instead of against the platform. Can also piggyback over another character.
