SoD now Purchaseable for 19.99 USD via

Digital Download!!!

Suggestion: I would update the Getting Started page which says SoD not available through legal means.

This is probably the easiest way to legally play THF unless your buddy owns a dvd of titanium or something.

I just picked up my copy and can confirm it works!

Not sure I can mention the URL here but google is your friend (and do not use amazon!).

I am not sure that your post makes sense. If the download is legal and purchasable online, I don't know why there would be issues posting the link to it. Though, it also doesn't make sense why SoD would be for sale for $19.99 now considering that EQ is free up to HoT now that EQ went F2P. The only client that you still have to pay for is the latest expansion which is currently VoA.

I don't see any EQ1 download available on Steam and they are the only ones that should have the SoD version which is compatible with EQEmu. The only other place I know of to get it is illegal and free, so it definitely shouldn't be charging $19.199 for something illegal lol.

Maybe you are trying to hint at something I am just not catching...

My only point was that SoD is $19.99 on one major (and legal) website.

I do appreciate the heads-up. Maybe I can get my money back! lol. (I used trymedia/realnetworks).

Edit: Btw where on Sony's website can I download a copy of SoD? I couldn't find it when I looked last week.

Micah, the problem there is that the specific download you mention has an undetermined size and based on the review, actually is an erroneous download.

My SoD worked via Trymedia. I just didn't realize I could get it for free...
