Are there any other things I can try if I've followed your flow chart, I've done a clean install of titanium client, I've followed all the steps using the THF installer and updating spells/maps.... and I still crash when I try to aug. I've already lost one item to this, but now I'm just focused on trying to make it work. Any advice? Again, I have read the flow chart, and I HAVE done a fresh install of titanium.. have tried that three times in fact just to make sure I didn't mess something up. Any help would be most welcome!

did you delete everything installed and downloaded? or are you just reinstalling it over the same one? I would try getting rid of everything eq on your pc then try to do a fresh install sometimes it may OW the stuff you have on pc but it wont OW things like custom files that are already in the files from previous servers.

use zip file thf installer and manually copy extracted files to ensure manual administrator escalation for file overwrites.

run game shortcut with administrator priveledges.

I just started over the weekend so I'm still trying to figure all of this stuff out. =)

I'm crashing when trying to augment! The first time I thought it was just a fluke. But when it happened again the 2nd time I figured it was more than just a "me" thing.

Cute flowchart! =P And yes, I have played on various EQ EMU servers, P99 being one of them. But I created a separate instance of EQ just for THF! So I have a THFEQ folder & a THF only shortcut. I also downloaded all of the extra files and used the THF installer, etc. etc.

Do I really need to re-install freshly from my original .iso files and then re-install all of the THF specific stuff to correct this problem? Or is there some other magical thing I can try to prevent this from happening?

Thanks,
Z

The best way to get a pure THF install is to install your client of choice (titanium, Sod/sof, underfoot and I think HoT will work now as well) and then do the THF customizations. I don't think anyone has quiet figured out which exact file(s) from the other emu servers can kill augmenting.
