Isolated Char Screen Freeze

I went to Seb this morning to try a new bot (first time in the zone with my druid), each time I sent the bot in to atk my screen would freeze and I was forced to use task manager to quit the game. I logged bk in three different times trying a diff bot than just trying my pet.

At one point I zoned back to THF to try the bot on the practice dummies only to freeze again than it got to the point I couldn't get the druid past char select. I than tried my warrior in Seb with no problem. I downloaded the latest spell file and ran the thf patcher and tried the druid again (after using the stuck char fix), she was able to hang out at the Bazaar, port around, than once again froze up in Seb upon engaging a mob, same result in PoS. One thing I noticed was that it occurred the moment I ran in closer in order to see how much my bot was hitting for.

I am at a loss as to what to do, any suggestions? ~no I don't want to delete my druid :P~

I am using a clean install of Titanium.

Hmmm, I will see if i can repeat the issue you are reporting this weekend when i get a free moment.

Something you can try:
1) Try turning off your melee filters on your druid. I know you want to see how much your bot is hitting for, but there may be something that is causing an issue with titanium client with filters and bots.
2) Try deleting your eqclient.ini in your everquest directory. When you log back in you will have to reset a lot of the basic UI features, but you could have a corrupted line in the file that could cause this issue.
Oh the fun you all are going to have in DSK3...

Thanks for the suggestions Vaion :D .

It was definitely the spam.

I filtered off all melee and misses than one by one turned them back on, when I toggled other's misses back on the screen froze (upon running in). When i logged back in I tried recreating it again by leaving other's misses spam on but had no problem  so whatever it was toggling it off than on might have fixed it, either way I am going to filter off all the miss spam rather than isolating it in a closed window.

Good to hear it fixed the issue. I'll look into it and see what I can find this weekend.

We've found (especially on some of the more difficult encounters with lots of mobs/adds) that filtering is pretty key. Our guild has pretty much fully switched over to the Underfoot client to help give us as much flexibility here as possible. If you ever have any questions on this type of stuff, I'm happy to answer any questions you may have. Feel free to PM me in-game.

Previously, most people would see lots of de-syncs with boxed characters etc. Applying the filters helped a tremendous amount and it's pretty much non-existent now.

Unfortunately the only Underfoot copy/download I could locate is not legit, I do however have all EQ live expansions on my computer but UF was a digital download which is no longer available through SoE. I think the last hard copy I had was DoD.

Some of my UF weapon graphics are black such as the THF buffer's hammer. I saw one post with a link to a UF file list that can be copied over which would alleviate the problem (a chore for when I'm feeling ambitious).

Thanks for the responses :D
