Escape still doesn't work :( It worked the first time I tried it and not once since - oddly enough.

I know I'm far enough away from the mobs since when I do try it I can barely see them on the screen, yet they still come... and then I die a gruesome, awful death.

Escape works somewhat but not 100% correctly. Mobs will stop hitting (sometimes) and will not reset or clear aggro. One thing that does seem to help is when you sneak/hide it triggers evade but you remain on the hatelist.

UPDATE:

Figured out the issue here and fixed it. Escape and Fading memories will now trigger successfully without fail.

Please make sure to test this. My tests came up fine, but it's common for me to miss some stuff.

Since Escape has a 36 min reuse timer I only remembered to test it twice. Can we get a reduction to the timer or have more AA's to reduce it further?

The first time I still got smacked like I said something bad in OOC. Someone (me) who should have been doing eggs in Vistrinda slightly messed up. The bad dragorn and caretakers had their way with me. Not sure if this was due to the mobs being able to see SOS and me still being in aggro range or not. There was just too many of them to tell, in the same situation (not that it has EVER happened :mrgreen:) a bard can fade and survive.

The second time it appeared to work properly. Was in HOH grabbed a few mobs that I knew did not see SOS. Took off running hit escape and watched them reset and aggro totally clear.

That is definitely something that we can look into adding later on. I will give you guys a small glimpse at the next set of zones and tell you that they will not hold many spell upgrades, but will include brand new set(s) of AA's for all classes/levels (obviously 51+ for the AAs)

Vaion I'm having a very hard time with Fading Memories since this change. It used to be instant cast, with couple seconds resue timer. You could also use it while in combat to drop agro. If you were soloing a mob and used it you could see the mob lose target of you for a second as you dropped off the hatelist and then got back on it from prox agro or your next auto attack swing.

Now it takes 2 seconds(sometimes 3 seconds) for the skill to go off when the button is pushed. And ive had several times it will take up to 10 tries before it goes off. It works in combat only 10% of the time. but majority of the time when i try to use it combat it does not drop agro and I dont see it working at all, no fade message or seeing my name drop off the mob's target for a second like it would it the past.

I'm going to do some more testing here in an hour or so when I get home just to make sure it's not just lag from work.
