Zone crash

SSRA crashed when I LD'd on jeido, he was the group leader and his bot was out when this happened. I think it's related to the fact that it was his bot, and he crashed, but since bots dont depop when someone leaves the group anymore then it caused a zone crash.

Wanted to clarify this. I ld'd on Jeido, but only Jeido, then when he left the world my other toons as well as the rest of the ppl in ssra ld'd also hence the zone crash

Thanks Jei, it's a big help to locate bot related bugs.. (I'm sick of bots, theye are basically the only source of zone crashes, etc..)

Striat can hopfully fix it soon.

found out what else crashes a zone..discovered this on accident. my hot bar went from page 1 to page 3 where my bot hotkeys are on curande. and mazzic had the bot up. accidently hit #bot group order attack command and it crashed the zone.


The zone was Naggy's lair.

i accidentally hit my bot attack key in velks the other day when i wasnt group leader and didnt have a bot up and it crashed that zone as well.

also in sol b, one of our group members with a penchant for hitting a bot summon key whether meaning to or not, seems to have crashed the zone twice. i think that was yesterday.

I've only just joined this site, and server and have only just started re-playing EQ.

Was looking at this thread and thought i'd report a crash i had last night at about 21:30 GMT
I had a bot with me and was in Greater Faydark i think, anyway Kelethin.
Went into the RNG Guild but then was unable to open the door to exit.
Was thinking my bot got stuck or something outside the door thus preventing me from opening it.
Not knowing the command to disappear the bot, i tried to remove him from my Group.
Then i got Disconnected from the game.
I don't know if the server went down last night or anything, don't see any threads about it...

I think we had a reboot that time, but before a reboot, you should see a broadcast msg. so might have been a single zonecrash afterall.. guess I pay a visit to Kelethin tonight..

Oh ok.
Previous to this i was making a run to Kelethin from Crushbone and had a nice train on my tails. So i may not have noticed any broadcast msg.

01:00 Hungarian time, 10/09/2009, Jerant told Hans' bot to attack on accident and crashed ToV. This means I probably killed Kilmer so it's not such a big deal
